The hotel is right between Gare de Lyon and Bastille- and an easy walk to city center (Notre Dame/Latin District across the river.) The hotel *can* be a little noisy depending on who the guests are- you can hear fairly easily your ajacent room's activities- but it was quiet when everyone was being polite. Rooms are very small and bare bones-- but clean taken care of. It's a very typical Parisian hotel- maybe a bit smaller. Tiny shower in my single room (which had a twin bed.) They provide a bar of soap. That's it. Bring everything else yourself. Wi-fi worked well. The staff was excellent. Super nice. I was especially fond of Antoine. Very friendly and made me feel welcomed there. Luxury hotel? No. Great location? Absolutely. (If you're a runner or walker, like me, it's a block from Paris's promenade de plantee- a beautiful above ground walking path. It's out of traffic and lined with lovely flowers and foliage. It goes exactly 1 mile from start to the end of the wooden footbridge- and another 1.25, if you keep going another two blocks, it continues along another awesome path through the gardens.) My only warning is it does get really packed on Sunday afternoons. Mornings and weekdays are usually very quiet.

Comfortable, friendly and great location.
A very good value for money. Clean with nice bathroom. Within walking distance of various restaurants and bars as well as metro. Really couldn't have asked for better. Staff is friendly and speaks English. The Wifi connection is not available in the rooms, only in the lobby and is slow but that is really the only negative point I can think of.

Je n'avais pas vu que le déjeuner n'était pas compris dans le prix et j'ai pris mes petits-déjeuners à l'hôtel pensant qu'ils étaient déjà payés même si je pensais qu'il n'était pas terribles du tout. En partant j'ai du payer Euros 10 par ptit déj. et j'ai trouvé cher pour la qualité. Ils ont fait un geste, je n'ai pas payé pour mon fils de 6 ans, sympa ça mais si j'avais bien lu, j'aurais pris mes petits-déjeuners dans un restaurant.

Prestations correctes, personnel aimable, hotel bien situé. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Quelques points faibles : petit déjeuner moyen (l'essentiel y est, sans plus). La chambre est un petit peu petite et la finition est moyenne (mais cela dépend peut être des chambres). L'isolation phonique n'est pas fantastique (voisins bruyants s'abstenir).

sehr gute Lage
Sehr gut und bequem situirte Hotei. Zentral und doch ruhig. Das Zimmer ist ziemlich gross gewesen, nicht typisch für Paris. Aber für 3Sterne Hotel könnte man schon mehr Komfort anbieten und Frühstück im Begriff zu haben.
