Our stay was great
We had a good stay in this hotel. The Location was great. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Royal Saint Germain. We would definitely come back!

clean and good location
We found the hotel to be clean the staff friendly. It is in a very good location with shopping and good restaurants all around - We really liked 1900 Montparnasse and Le Consigne. There is a McD's a few doors down for a late night snack or coffee in the morning The hotel is about equal distance between Notre Dame, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Go straight up Rue de Renne to get to the Louve. On the downside, the room we were in was only a few feet larger than the bed. The bathroom was also small and the opening to the shower only about 16 inches across. While little outside noise entered the room, we could hear our neighbors talking, their TVs, and the pipes are noisy.

The hotel and staff were lovely. The room space was tight (by Western standards) but perfectly Parisian - clean, modern, and cheerful. The breakfast was delightful (ours was included in our price). We would enjoy a hearty, delicious breakfast and then be set for hours as we travelled around the City. The hotel is located within one block of 2 metro stations. It has an elevator, English speaking staff (very courteous), and is well managed.

HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND VERY WELL LOCATED. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. WE FOUND ALL OF FRANCE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WE LOVED OUR TRIP AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN.

Vewry good location and staff! WELL WORTH the value
Staff made this twice the experience.. great location to Latin District and other cool neighborhoods to walk and play. The best of our Paris hotels.. by far.

walk to the Latin District andf lunch and or evening drinks.. you can take the metro home to save your legs.. the walk there is FUN and about 3 miles maybe a tad more. but worth it.

Fine lodgings
Montparnasse an interesting area -- very few tourists, a plus. Plenty of interesting good restaurants nearby. Room small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is in an excellent location for discovering Paris, metro and airport shuttle bus station very close by and plenty in walking distance. The hotel is having very quite and clear. The breakfast was excellent, especially for a continental, lots of choice. duing my trip hotel was full the breakfast room quite small. The best thing about this hotel was the staff, very hellfull and can speak english well.free internet acsees, air cond. room safe and very clean bath room. next time we will be stay again. Stayed April 6-9 2012, traveled with my wife Selma-Ahmet Ulusan

Good Location But Hotel So-So
The hotel is being renovated. The hotel staff seemed irritated by the low price we got online kand put us on a floor that had no carpet or wallpaper/paint in the hallways. The room was OK but there was no coffee pot/hot water pot. The shower was nice but the room was a step below the others we got in Paris, Rome, and London. The location is quite nice though. Be careful that breakfast is NOT included despite the fact that the description of the hotel says that it has a daily buffet breakfast. You have to pay extra for the room to have breakfast included.
