Hotel Magenta Paris

The hotel overall is amazing, it has super fast free Wi-Fi and the room is super clean. The only thing that bothers me is the heat problem, the heat does not seem to work during my stay there in January, otherwise its a super great place to stay in Paris.

This hotel was very nice! Oftentimes the photos on websites can be deceiving, but this hotel was actually nice. The neighborhood is not a touristy one, and it's quite far from most major attractions, but there is a metro stop close by.

I had a great time at this hotel! The location is not ideal for a first trip to Paris (it is at least a 30 min walk from any major tourist attraction), but if you are willing to brave the metro, the location is not a problem. The neighborhood, though close to the train stations, is far enough away from the sketchy areas that I felt relatively safe as a young single female late at night. The hotel staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The room (an economy single) was very nice and well equipped (safe, TV, wifi, thermostat, hot beverages, refrigerator). The breakfast was unparalleled to any that I've had at a Paris hotel. The convenience is worth the extra euros, but the quality and variety of the food is what made breakfast a great value. I would (and already have) recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Staff was extremely rude and unwilling to help - AC was broken and the staff refused to have someone check our room and figure out what the problem was with the AC. Room was extremely uncomfortable and unjustifiably hot. Horrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

Nothing special but a good deal. Small rooms, close to Metro "Jacques Bonsergent". Breakfast at a surcharge but quite good quality.

Looking for a place to sleep. Hotel magenta was perfect. Clean.. free wifi.. helpful staff. Less than a minute walk to metro. Perfect for touring paris and sleeping on a budget!

I booked a Premium Room (6th Floor) to ensure that the room was spacious. Price included Breakfast. Receptionist was very helpful. I had difficulty in using the internet provided in ground floor, due I am not familair with Apple Computer Configuration. If you can afford the higher price, the up-grade is worth having in order to avoid feeling closed in. I did not see the other standard rooms.

For a four-star hotel (and four-star prices) the Magenta has a lobby that is not much better than a decent hostel, with vending machine and Ikea furniture. Location is fine, not that close to any decent Metro stations, in an interesting but "up-and-coming" neighborhood. If you are looking for traditional Parisian charm better look elsewhere.

The hotel is spotless, and our room was tastefully decorated. We loved the fully tiled bathroom and the room safe. The breakfast was included, and it was a full breakfast - - cereal, eggs, sausage, meats, an assortment of breads, yogurt,juices and coffee. We liked going to the bright breakfast room to relax, eat, plan the day and see fellow guests. The only thing that might be changed is the check-in time. We couldn't get into the room until 3pm, but the hotel allowed us to leave our bags in a locked room. Also free WiFi.

Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe von Metro-, Bus- und Bahnhofstation, ein super Plus! Der Rest war okay, das Frühstück für 9 Euro überraschend vielfältig und gut. Einzig der Gestank in der Dusche war ziemlich übel (das Bad sonst sauber!), keine Ahnung, woher das kam, ausserdem war der Duschschlauch kaputt.
