Took our daughter for her first visit to Paris. Wonderful location and service. Didn't even mind the rain and chilly weather. Would definetly stay here again. Clean well appointed too, but bed could have been more comfortable.

Unforgettable vacation

This hotel was in a great location. It was within distance of almost everything. It was in a busy section of downtown so all the cafes and restaurants were walking distance. The bus passed not so far from it and some of the monuments could be seen as soon as you turned a couple of street corners. The only thing that I recommend is that you either charge everything to 100% or that you buy an electrical wall connection for your appliances before you go instead of trying to find it there because most of them cater to the U.K. and not the U.S. The staff was great. The concierge helps us call and set up all our trips. The hotel was beautiful and quiet, with great art in the halls and rooms. Will always be a memorable experience for us.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Take the bus it is only 1,70Euro per person and the bus driver will give you your change, even if you pay with 20,00Euro. You can see the city and it is just as great as paying for a trip. When you get as far as you want to go, get off, cross the street and take it back the other way.

Jolly Hotel Lotti, June 2010

Very nice hotel in excellent location. Excellent value compared to other hotels on previous visits. We had only one problem: at first we were given a TINY, very HOT room (no functioning air conditioning). On second day, we requested a replacement room which was bigger, quiet, and had the promised A/C. The multilingual staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge seemed to know every restaurant in Paris.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The restaurant "Le Soufflé" around the corner was excellent, friendly, English-speaking and as the name suggests specializes in souffles, although there's lots of other dishes on the menu. Avoid "Ferdi" almost next door: bad attempt to do Mexican food. "Cafe Flottes" about 1 block further was good and the host extremely friendly.

the best hotel in paris

this was our third trip to Paris and Lotti was the best hotel we ever been to. It is walking distance to museums and to Opera. We loved everything about this place. Service, accomodations, people.

Rigid service

This hotel would have received high ratings if we did not have a problem with the draperies in the room. Not only was it impossible to sleep with the east light filling the room but when we requested a simple fix (a chord to hold back the drapes against the angled wall) we were told that no one had ever had such a problem. The haughty response from the person at the reception desk was irritating. After returning and finding no fix in the room we called the engineer who agreed with us that the fix was simple and that he understood the request. He left, giving us the impression that he would return with something. He did not return. Obviously, we made the adjustment with things at hand. (Thank goodness the phone cords were long.) The significant issue was the response to the problem, not the problem itself. The service from the other parts of the staff was very good.

We liked it

We were there early, but the staff completed our registration and even speeded up cleaning the room so we can get it. The room was clean and we enjoyed the desserts left for us each night. Took a little to get used to the curtain-less showers. Three os us stayed in the room and my daughter had to sleep on a role-away bed which did not look very comfortable, but she did not complain.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

It is a short walk to Louvre and the Champ-Ellise. The train station is also very close. The hotel is surrounded by places where you can shop, have a great coffee and breakfast.

well located but disappointing

Everything is tiny: elevator, room, bed, bathtub. No bedding comfort at all (hard matress and pillows !). Old TV. Old bathtub and faucets. Fresh paint odor in the room, but the staff keeps closing windows! More importantly, the registration employee refused to give me my bill with the mention "paid", the reason being I had booked with Orbitz. I had to require to see the manager so he finally printed my bill. And it is not a "tourist issue" with misunderstanding since I'm French and it is my home language in Paris. Annick Haouzi

Great location!

Great location! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially those at the concierge desk and at the door. Our family had one standard and one deluxe room. The standard room was small but quite satisfactory. The deluxe room was large and clean, but could use some updating/redecorating. The price was quite acceptable considering the location. There were workers in the hall painting and upgrading the carpets, so we assumed ours must have been one of the older rooms, but considering the rate, it was satisfactory. Minor complaints: Beds and pillows weren't very comfortable, and the shower isn't the greatest. The lobby/bar area furniture has seen better days.
