horrible, a place that literaly make you sick.

We had room 42 as small as a cupboard with a minute bathroom looking at the back of hotel, musty smell, molds. My poor wife suffered an acute bronchial asthma attack all night. The staff offered us room 26 on the next day slightly better, looking at the main road, NO AIRCONDOTION ,temp was 76F. had to leave window open , all night traffic noise , STAY AWAY HORRIBLE PLACE

Uninspiring

Tiny rooms which are tired and need of care. Position is good in a relaxed part of the city handy for all the usual sighseeing destinations but the hotel is expensive for what it offers - very little other than a bed at the end of a day's adventures

Not best hotel choice

The hotel has only one value - its location. We were on the 5th floor, Wi-Fi was not reachable that high, though hotel positions itself as the one with free Wi-Fi. I am not sure whether all standard rooms are as small as the one on the 5th floor, however two people couldn’t move around simultaneously, one had to seat down and wait for another to pass. Under the bathroom sink wet towel collecting dropping water. 7 years ago I stayed in Paris in 1 star hotel. Did not see the difference in amenities of 1 and 3 star this time besides the price.

Great Location

The room was small but expected in Paris. Room was clean but very old. This hotel will do if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in the room. The location was ideal. Middle of Paris and access to Metro/RER/BUS. Lots of restaurants in the area and near the river which makes it great for night life by the banks.

Great location and friendly staff!

I recently stayed at Hotel France Louvre and had an amazing experience. Hotel staff was very helpful with recommending restaurants and planning my side trip to Vimy Ridge. The hotel is in a great location for using the metro and is a ten minute walk from Notre Dame and the Louvre. Free wifi was available, AC in the room and the shower had great pressure/very clean. Although the room was very small compared to Canadian hotels, it was still a great place to rest your head at night and take in the oldest parts of Paris. I do not recommend the breakfast at the hotel because you can get better value at other close by restaurants. Overall, great hotel for the price and I loved my experience!

Perfect Paris spot!

This is a small boutique hotel located near the Marais neighborhood in centrl Paris. The location is perfect - convenient to transportation, great walking neighborhoods, great restaurants and bars, the Seine and lots of attractions. The rooms are small, especially the bathroom,s but are the perfect European experience. Not for you if you need the luxury of American style rooms, but perfect if you like quaint and funky! Rooms on the street have a great Paris street view, but rooms in the back are quieter.

Safe get away for a female travelling alone.

The hotel room is the usual size for Europe. The room was small but very quiet and had all amenities that I needed, including good water pressure in the shower! The Hotel was very quiet and I felt very safe by myself. The Hotel was in easy walking distance to shops, bakeries, restaurants and musesums. The staff was friendly & assisted me to reserve safe and convenient transportation back to the Airport.

Great Location

The hotel room was small but it was comfortable and had a small bathroom. There was no noise and the staff was helpful and courteous. The only problem was that the ac did not work but i slept comfortably with the window open. No bug bites! There was a view of an alley but i thought this was good because this kept the noise level down. We walked to the Louvre and Notre Dame and to the train station to get to Versailles and another one to get to the airport. Overall we were rather satisfied especially given the price of other hotel rooms.

Great location

Narrow halls & staircases, typical of boutiquey Parisian hotels. This is right across from the Hotel de Ville Metro stop, so easy to get to from the airport. It's also a block or two from the Seine, and across the river from the Notre Dame. The rooms are tiny, but fully equipped. View out onto Rue Rivoli, which is a busy, main street. The location is perfect. Delicious boulangerie in a square a block away, and surrounded by dozens of restaurants, bars, and shopping. There's also a market across the street (I think on Saturday). It took less than an hour to take a train to Versaille for a day trip, and less than two hours out to Dijon for wineries. The Louvre, Latin Quarter, Notre Dame are a short walk away. Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Champs Elysees are a short Metro ride. Because of the location, I'd definitely stay here again.

Stop by the boulangerie in the square down the bock to pick up fresh sandwiches in the morning to eat later in the day. Cost was 3.5E
