If arriving early, baggage can be stored until your room is ready. Hotel has a good breakfast; however, there are plenty of dining places nearby, and other types of cuisines as well. Walking distance to metro and train station [Gare St Lazare] which has more than 4 metro lines available toward any direction in Paris and bus stops. Peace and quiet is nice even though you may hear a occassional train with squeaky brakes in the night. Cordialy and some English speaking staff were a blessing. Complimentary wi-fi at ground level. Printer available as well. Room was confortable and clean, with small flat screen TV with limited programming. Shuttle to the airports are available even traveling alone. If leaving Paris by air, suggest arriving at airport 3 hours prior to departure time. Great value for all the amenties made available.

Short walk from hotel
Gare Saint Lazare has a 3 floors that offer you plenty of shopping. ATMs are readily available, plus a grocery store on the lower level. Plenty of dining spots close by as well. Time saving bus and metros can get you anywhere around Paris. Suggest good walking shoes. Some uneven streets /sidewalks may be encountered.

overall good value
close to the center of paris, about 2 blocks from st. lazare, the metro stop. once you get on metro, you can get to all the major stops in paris. you can even walk to opera house and lafayette gallery. it's in pretty safe area. one block away from a handful of brasseries and cafe. it's not in tourist area (arr 1,4,5,7), so don't expect to have a great view in your window. hotel staff spoke english. my room was clean, but it was tiny. expect tiny rooms to be the norm in paris. internet was very slow, but it was free. overall, i thought it was good primarily because it was close to the center of the city without breaking the bank. would stay here again.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
lafayette gallerie nearby with major european brands you expect to see (lv, givenchy, etc.) another major shopping district near arc de triomphe, but that's farther from this hotel. use the metro. it will save you money.

Great hotel for the money
If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel, this is it. it is very well located, only one block from two metro stations. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, and the breakfast was good and cheap. I would definitely recommend it.

One step above a hostel
There is absolutely no way this hotel is "3 Star". This is a low level tourist hotel. I had no hot water my first night. There was no air conditioning any of my five night stay. Horrid little hotel. I tried to cancel after the first night but all reservations were non-refundable. The front desk consisted of 1-2 young women. The hotel has no concierge, no bellmen, etc. - there was no other first floor help. This is a very bare bones hotel. If you stay here, be aware you are getting low level, budget hotel.

Nice, simple room
Room not bad, nice, average, simple room, good price. Small, quiet, close to subway. Didn't have breakfast though, but let us check in early.

Pleasant and affordable
pleasant stay; Helpful staff; good breakfast @ 10 euros. Very near a convenient metro/RER (RR)station. Good restaurants within walking distance. Very close to Blvd Hausmann and convenient to Montmarte.

Good central hotel
The reviews I had seen said clean and great location, small rooms. this is pretty accurate. The room wasn't as small as I expected. The bathroom was quite large and had a tub with the shower head mounted (yeah, no sitting in the tub to shower) and was newly remodeled. Safes and hair dryers in the rooms and the air conditioner worked great. It isn't a great location but good. Walking distance to a lot but not super close to lots of sites. It is close to the big Gare St. Lazare train station which makes it very convenient for getting around (few transfers needed)

À 3mn des quais de la gare Saint Lazare
Seul la proximité de la gare est appréciable. Un peu bruyant, chambre petite, baignoire avec rideau plastique blanc. C'est Paris!
