Holiday Inn PARIS OPERA - GRANDS BLVDS

Good location, helpful staff. Breakfast too pricey ar 18 euros per person. Room was noisy

I booked my hotel through a popular travel website. I was given three options. 1. Room alone was one rate, 2. Room with Internet was another rate and 3. Room with Internet and Breakfast was another rate. I chose the room with Internet and paid the extra amount. I arrived at the the hotel and they just kept telling me no, the internet is not included. I showed them my booking and they asked me to email it their supervisor, which I did twice with no response. I went to the desk and explained how I booked it and they DID NOT care. They just kept telling me no. Customer Service you will NOT find at this Holiday Inn. The room was extremely noisy. I had an Exit sign in my room that glowed neon green and kept me awake. Their solution was to put a towel over it, which did not help. I ended up wrapping a scarf around to block the light. The only good thing was the location, which says nothing for the hotel. I am a priority club member, which is the main reason I stayed here. Will I return, NEVER? Will I recommend to anyone? NEVER Will I bad mouth this hotel and tell everyone to stay away, YES.

We spent 9 days here exploring Paris and happily coming back to rest to our room.. The room was exceptionally clean (great sheets & pillows, brand new bathrooms, air cond., tea bags/coffee, flat screen TV, etc.), outstanding hotel services, knowledgeable and helpful staff speaking excellent English, metro station (2 major lines) 20 ft from the front door, tons of places to eat round the corner. Overall, a really great experience. A few minor complaints: room's too small (though, you'd expect it in Paris) - not even an arm-chair to lounge in; TV showed mostly news and entertainment in French only; breakfast expensive - 18 euros, so we went out every morning. I highly recommend the place.

We were very pleased. Hotel staff was friendly, breakfast was quite expensive but worth it, rooms were clean and looked new. It also had tea and coffee making facilities which was nice. Situation was excellent because metro station was 6 steps away from hotel door. Only negative thing was noise from garden at 5.30 am every morning.

sauber, schönes Zimmer, sehr komfortables Bett, freundliches Personal FR/EN sprechend. Wir konnten die Seite des Zimmers selber wählen, entweder die ruihge Seite oder die laute Seite gleich neben der Strasse (Grands Boulevard - ist abends echt laut) wir haben uns für die ruihge Seite entschieden war echt super!! Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht - in der nähe gab es eine sehr gute bäckerei! Metro gleich vor dem Hotel - super verbindungen!!

Neue Einrichtung, unglaublich hilfsbereites Personal, sehr komfortabel und zentral direkt an der Metro, unerwartet gut für ein günstiges Wochenendangebot.
