First Hotel

This hotel was right across from a metro stop. It was nice after traveling by train from Brussels with 2 large suitcases to find that it was right across the street. It also made for easy access to everything in Paris. But I must mention that the Eiffel tower is less than a 15min walk away! There is a bakery right next door and lots of brasseries (cafes) all within walking distance. From the outside the hotel looks very small and unassuming. The lobby was equally as small but who cares about the lobby right? There was pretty much only one receptionist at all times during our 5 night stay but they're always friendly and readily available to answer questions and make recommendations at my request. Thanks Sunny & girl who's name i forgot =/ We stayed on the fourth floor. We excited the elevator to find the hallways were painted black. We entered the room to find that the walls were also black with contrasting white furniture. But not to worry it wasn't scary Gothic black but rather sleek and modern look. The room was small but by Paris standards it was more than sufficient for 2 people. Our room had a view of the Eiffel tower which was nice. The bed, shower, toilet were all well maintained, clean, & in good working condition. Maid came in daily to clean room and had fresh towels. The only issue issue is that if you're a light sleeper a room with a view puts you on the street side next to the metro. And since the hotel doesn't have air conditioning like most hotels in Paris we had to keep our windows open which also brought in the noise of passing motorist. It really only bothered us in the morning with speeding motorcycles and honking from cars. During the night it was fine and we really never really noticed the trains going by. Sooo overall a nice place to stay and in a really good location.

Listed under amenities this hotel says "airport shuttle" what that means is that the hotel will call a taxi for you that costs 70 euro cash once you arrive at hotel. it is cheaper to take train from the basement of airport with connections will get you to right outside hotel door for about 15-20 Euro a person. Other notes, room small because it Paris, our lamp was broken, stains on bathroom baseboard, hallway smelled like mold. Just stay outside city and take metro in.

Located within a 10 minute walk to the park at the Eiffel Tower. Room was clean, loved the towel warmer. The smell of bread baking every morning when we opened the window.

The hotel was very cute. View of the Effie tower was cool. The breakfast was nice, staff was friendly and spoke english. He only issue we had was the wifi connection sucked. Otherwise great time and will be back.

Very friendly staff and élégant room. The bed is very confortable but a bit too large for the room making it difficult to arrange suitcases. lighting should be brighter in the bathroom We enjoyed our stay at this hotel

This hotel is conveniently located right outside of Metro #6 Cambronne Station. The room is small but clean. The AM female receptionist was really friendly and helpful. However, there is an older male Indian or Middle-eastener was not so helpful. We love the towel heater and the shower was fabulous.

This hotel was just what we needed! Great friendly staff. Very clean rooom with nice Eiffel tower view. Great location, easy access to the city metro system( across the street). There are lots of nice restaurants near by. They offer breakfast( extra charge). Everything is just like on the pictures. Honestly, this hotel was way much bettre than we expected.

The hotel is great! The room is very small but that was expected. Our room had an Eiffel Tower view and a balcony! Within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and there is a metro stop at the hotel's front door! The hotel is not in a tourist area but there are nice cafes nearby and a bakery next door. The metro can get you anywhere within minutes. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. We were only in the room to sleep so the size didn't matter and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to friends and we would stay there again.

First Hotel offered a very clean, well appointed, comfortable hotel in a very quaint Paris neighborhood. Located steps away from two major Metro stops (which can take you - or connect you to - just about anywhere in Paris), the location couldn't be better. It's a bustling neighborhood during the day and a quiet area at night with cute cafe's, a patasserie, great restaurants and bars within steps. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped with directions. We came back to a clean room each day. The rooms are small (typical for Paris) but very comfortable. The hotel tries to save on electricity by making sure a room key is inserted in a slot to turn the electricity on. This was great except for the mini fridge that was in the room turned off when we weren't home and spoiled some of our food. Overall, a fabulous option for anyone wanting a great experience in Paris. I was definitely stay there again.
