The hotel will cheat you out of your money. The staff is unresponsive and pushes you through a third party. Est Hotel takes advantages of you and I don't reommend this terrible experience to anyone!

Very basic room, no shower curtain in bathroom and the decor of the room was dark, dated and gloomy. Also the room was small given that it was a triple. It was quiet though which given it central location was a big positive. 3 stars is a very generous rating for this hotel. I would say it is struggling to get to two stars. The staff is friendly, including the black labrador dog at the reception1

Good Paris area, non-tourist location
This is a small French hotel in a great area of town within easy walking distance from the Garde de Est train and subway station and the even larger Garde du Nord station. We took the RER train from Charles de Galle directly to Garde du Nord station and walked to the hotel. It was also great to have these stations nearby when we took a train to Versailles. The rooms are small, but that's likely because it's an authentic French hotel. The shower did not have walls or a curtain, but I've encountered that in other countries as well. The staff was friendly, spoke some English and were on duty 24/7. Several cafes are nearby and open early for a croissant and espresso and stay open late for a glass of vin and a snack before bed! (Sadly, I can't say that about my home neighborhood.)

Good Price Performance Ratio
The hotel room was small, but clean. The same for the bathroom. However, the house is very clairaudient, so you hear EVERY noise in the other rooms. When someone in another room goes to the bath, it sounds as if he was in your own room...

Preis-Leistung o.k.
Kleine Zimmer aber sehr sauber. Hotel liegt sehr günstig mit Zugang zu öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln. Gare de l´Est nur ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt.

Hält nicht was versprochen wird
In der Beschreibung steht "Das Hotel ist ein 3-Sterne-Haus und wurde komplett neu renoviert" Ich habe von all dem nichts gemerkt. Das Hotel war überhaupt nicht renoviert. 2 Sterne reichen völlig. In der Dusche war überall Schimmel, der Duschvorhang war 30 cm zu lang. die Türe zum Bad war defekt. Das eine Zimmer war extrem klein. Die Türe zum Zimmer war aus dem letzten Jahrhundert man konnte bei geschlossener Türe sehen wer im Flur war. Der Teppich war auch nicht besser, ich habe micht nicht getraut mit nackten Füssen darüber zu laufen. Im zweite Zimmer sah es nicht viel besser, dort war in der Dsche gar kein Vorhang.
