BEST WESTERN Trianon Rive Gauche

The hotel was an excellent choice for a quick weekend trip. The location was close to three metro stations which go all around the city, around the corner from the open air bus stop and walkable to Notre Dame, the Louvre and Saint Chapelle. A good choice of restaurants within a block of the hotel. We loved the areas residential feel and not so many tourists. The hotel was clean and the staff most helpful. We would stay here again..

This hotel was absolutely fantastic. The staff are warm and friendly. Even though the check-in time was at 3:00 and our flight arrived earlier, we could leave our luggage in a safe location at the hotel. This gave us the opportunity to see the city. The rooms we had, although small was just right for the trip. The staff also suggested a restaurant for dinner,, Bouillion Racine, best creme brulee I had in my life. With its central location, key destination sites within minutes. I highly recommend a stay here when visiting Paris.

Great Location. Near Notre Dame and just next to Latin Quarter, without the Latin quarter noise. Hotel is ok. King size bed was very nice, but small rooms, paper thin walls and just plain oldness keep this hotel at most a 4 star. The price we paid was the lowest we could find in the area.

When we go to Paris again (because once isn't enough!!!), we want to stay at this same place! We loved to have diner across the street - Plaza August Conte, right behind Sorbonne University, a very calm coul-de-sac - in any of those Parisian cafes, where the waiters don't care about check you out (even if the place is crowed we local people!)

We choose this hotel because of all the good internet reviews; and I appreciated the manager's response to the reviews. This attention to customer service certainly carries over to the hotel itself. We arrived at hotel before check-in but our room was ready and Sabrina checked us in right away - this was very much appreciated! Sabrina spoke English well and was very pleasant to deal with throughout our stay. In the evening, Loic was the best at the desk - he was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was simply a personable guy. He always had a cheerful Bon Jour when we returned to the hotel after a long, tiring day of sightseeing. Some would consider this a little thing but when you are in a foreign place, full of strangers and the customs and language are different from your own, any opportunity to feel like someone knows you is nice. We wish these two much success. I also have to mention the IMPECCABLE room service at this hotel. Each night the room/bathroom was clutter-free and spotlessly clean when we returned. We stayed for 8 nights and this was consistent. Thank you! We used the room-safe but probably didn't need it - The two iMacs in the lobby were very convenient, fast and no problems connecting or printing. Same for the in-room wireless service. The hotel is very convenient to sites in the area, even within walking distance of Notre-Dame when we had the energy! I don't consider these comments as "Cons" - just typical of Parisian hotels: smaller rooms, a bit of street noise from window, furniture a bit dated and we could hear the loud guest next door for the two nights he was there. But overall these things didn't diminish our opinion of the hotel. The only thing I wish was different was the lack of air conditioning. It wasn't turned on for the season yet. The weather warmed and the room was a bit stuffy in the evening. We couldn't sleep with windows open because of the street noise - air conditioning would have been nice to clear our stuffy noses! For our honeymoon we just wanted someplace safe, convenient and reliable so we could focus on Paris and not worry about the small stuff and that is what happened.

It was my first time in Paris and I chose that hotel because of its location. It is walking distance to Luxembourg station that takes you to and from the airport in about 30 minutes and also the hotel is around metro(underground). That is very important in Paris since driving around is almost all the time in traffic. It is about 15 minutes by foot to Notre Dam and close to other great locations. The rooms have air conditioning, which is a key factor especially in summer and most importantly they are clean.

Ok for price. Last redecorated circa 1932. Staff all spoke excellent English and very helpful. Really small elevator.

Very good small hotel. The staff is very helpfull. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, inroom climate control that actually works!! and walking distance to many nice restaurants, bars and metro stations. Really there is nothing to complain about.

Great location. Short walk to Notre Dame and the Louve.

Location and price best features Washroom is tiny, toilet tank makes seating uncomfortable, missing shower curtain/door makes showering uncomfortable, hanger on door is an easy improvement. Elevator tiny. Breakfasts are great Desk staff is helpful
