Concorde El Salam

We stayed in Concorde El Salam 'Beach' for Christmas and New Year. We booked 'Beach' as we had read that the rooms were nicer and quieter, freshly renovated with sea views, I think this was true. The sister hotel Concorde 'road' has an aqua park and of course more children. We travelled with our 10 year old who prefers snorkeling in the sea to swimming pools and the reef in front of Concorde was out of this world! There are attendants watching that people don't touch or swim over the coral and I've never been to a place where the reef is so looked after. To have such pristine underwater beauty and unbelievable quantity and variety of sea life a few meters from shore and your hotel was truly amazing! To be honest we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. We went to Egypt to kite surf, snorkel and scuba dive in a nice climate. We choose Concorde as we didn't want to risk getting ill and ruin the chance of doing the things we had come to do. I don't think we were 'typical' visitors to the hotel but the reviews for the food and cleanliness suited us and turned out to be a good choice for a first time visit. We talked to people from other hotels who did get ill and who said the catering was not so good in their hotels. The Concorde was one of the most modern and beautiful and clean hotels that we passed through on our 2 week stay. There was entertainment every evening next to the restaurant, belly dancing, Chinese acrobats, singers etc but after a day of extreme activity we were finished and retired early! What entertainment we did see looked to be of a good quality. Being just that bit further away towards the beach helped with our sleeping as things got loud there at around 21.00 every night. The hotel provided us with a good breakfast box most mornings and we were off at 07.00 on on our way to kite surf or catch a boat to Tiran Island or Ras Mohammed etc. Overall the atmosphere and the personnel in the hotel was great. Everything was neat and tidy, they couldn't do enough for you and all generally with a smile. Hany made the bed each day in a different way, elephants and swans, with flowers etc. ...really made our 10 year laugh, and nice to come 'home' to. Our passion to kit surf brought us to Kite Junkies 15 minutes in a mad minibus drive north along the road that links Sharm. These minibus trips gave us a taste of something approaching 'real Egypt'. Crazily fast or frustratingly slow, no seat belts or no lights, ghost riding and tooting (but never aggressively!) the Koran blaring out and the haggling for the price and then the good natured wave, 'come on board', we got to really like the mini buses. We all felt safe and welcomed at at all times. We did and saw a lot of things. I think we will certainly try to visit Sharm again.

This is NOT a 5 Star hotel (despite what the hotel may claim). Breakfast was the worst i have ever had. When booking we were led to believe that this hotel was very near Old Sharm, but that was not the case. It is next to the airport and noisy. We were seriously misled.

Excellent, and friendly service from check-in till checkout, good room service, and good room size, excellent landscaping, I love my experience there.

This hotel and resort is a 20 minute taxi ride from Sharm and most of the guests seem to be on all inclusive packages so if you don't want to eat in the hotel every night be prepared for a journey. I preferred the restaurants in the old market area of Sharm, lots of fresh fish and a friendly atmosphere. Went diving from the hotel which was brilliant and the snorkelling at the hotel was amazing. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Wir hatten die Family Suite. Sehr grosse Räume. Es hatte einfach zu viele Russen... Die Animationen waren sogar auf Russisch. Denoch war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

me and a friend liked it very much, the thing is the hotel is near the beach but long away from city. When we were there they was ahead of re-build everything so i defenitly coming back in the next couple of years to see the results. The hotel was perfect! - expansive food was the only minus. a stay there, is for us guest's never to regret

Cet hôtel dispose d'un récif très accessible et protégé des courants marins contrairement aux autres baies de Sharm. Très proche de l'aéroport sans pour autant avoir les nuisances. Des buffets très variés, donc la formule all inclusive est très conseillée, vous ne serai pas déçu. Très bonne qualité de service dans tous les différents bar, restaurant et discothèque. Les chambres et leurs mobiliers sont très confortables. La rénovation des bâtiments se fait régulièrement. Les piscines sont magnifiquement entretenues.

Très bien située , gros problème organisation , pour avoir une place à la plage il faut être sur place à 7 h le matin car après il n y à plus de place . La nourriture est la même chaque jour et pas beaucoup de choix ..... À éviter le restaurant italien de cette hôtel qualité très médiocre et le poisson n est pas frai .! Faire très attention .! Animation est la même chaque soir . Attention demander d avoir le transport de l aéroport à l hôtel. Les taxis demandés des sommes très haute pour faire 3 Km .
