Paradisus Punta Cana Resort - All Inclusive

First time to the dominican republic Read all the reviews before the trip and they were very consistent with our expirence. Beaches and grounds were awesome absolutely beautiful. As far as the food it was ok could be a little better but you will not starve for sure. We tried most of the restaurants vento was the best. For lunch stick to the poolside grill at the reserve it's better then any other. Btw if you book a junior suite UPGRADE IMMEDIATELY!!! It is worth it the junior suite is terrible. Overall can't wait to go back

resort was horrible, guessing game every nite as to where you could eat, dodging golf cart type vehicles trying to walk down walkways,layout is horrible also

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Bartenders, waiters,entertainment and entertainment staff were good . My concierge, Jean Henry was excellent. Food was borderline edible. Language barrier was frustrating. I expected more English speaking staff. Will definitely brush up on my spanish before going back. Cleanliness of room was lacking. I had to call several times to have the room cleaned and request clean towels because by 3 or 4 pm , the maid still hadn't showed up.Several times the toilet wouldn't flush after using it, however maintenance was there to fix it within 5 minutes. My friends' ceiling was leaking , so she had to be moved. She was given another room which she felt was a down grade from previous room . Another friend I travelled with had injured her knee right before vacation and had a soft cast. She requested her room to be changed to the 1st floor and she was told that there wasnt any available and yet various staff repeatedly commented how "way " below regular occupancy the place was. Just returned yesterday and i have itchy bite marks all over my feet and legs. Haven't figured out if it's bed bug bites or just sand flea bites. Still undecided if i'd recommend to a friend.

We enjoy the atmosphere of the Paradisus Resorts. We had visited their resort in Costa Rica and loved it. This location was very similar in regards to accommodations and friendly staff. There aren't many options close by for excursions but my husband and I prefer to relax and enjoy good food and drinks and a nice pool/beach. The food was average but the pool is very large and offers plenty of shaded areas to sit. We both suffered from a bit of a stomach bug on the last night of our trip which I am still battling but Ive always been prepared for the possibility of that happening. Overall, I don't think we will return to the Dominican but this resort delivered a good vacation for a very affordable price. Outside of the resort offered very little to experience. Enjoyed the resort but wasn't impressed by the destination.

The vacation was amazing. It was so beautiful there and the people were all so nice and fun, especially the activities staff. Everything was top notch, except the food, which was only okay. I would recommend it to anyone.

Was disappointed in this Hotel. Booked Royal Service room amenities displayed on Paradisus website inaccurate and misleading. Had to switch rooms, due to cleanliness. Food was not very good. Staff was rude at times. They need to communicate better with is guests.

This resort had beautiful grounds which were well kept & manicured. The room decor & layout was nice except for the fact that there were little ants by bathroom sink, on top, even saw some on the bed & couch! They had at least 5 different outside tour operators, if not more, on site and way too many hotel concierge staff, which seemed to have same job as the tour operators planning excursions for guests. Every day I witnessed group of 5 concierge guys just hanging around waiting for the guests to leave breakfast so they can 'accomodate' tourists. I thought concierge was service for guests to get recommendations or suggestions of places to go or things to do if thats what the guest wants, but the concierges approach to guests made them look desperate to sell something, didn't like that at all. For an All Inclusive beachfront property, I was disappointed there was NO beach service for drinks & if you were at farther end of beach, you had to walk to other side to get drink or use restroom. At least have accessible bars/restrooms if you don't provide beach service. Website says there is room service, HOWEVER does not tell you there is a $5 delivery charge each time you order. Who does that? You say you're an All Inclusive property, ALL food, drinks & tips included but yet charge for "delivery"? Food was nothing spectacular. Grill & buffet stations with the raw meat/fish just sitting out uncovered NOT even on ice! UGH definitely wouldnt see that in US hotels. I definitely wouldn't recommend this resort.

at first we thought we were in paradise. After the second night i had bites all over me and couldn't stop scratching. by day 3 i noticed them crawling on the furniture by the sliding door....then i found them in my luggage on day 4. day 5 and 6 i was forced to wear clothes that were infested w/bed bugs or fleas. Then i took my clothes out of my luggage in our front yard at home, thru them in garbage bags, then throught them in the washer, only to find out that now 3 of my family members who were not on the trip now have bites all over them. So, now, my famiyl, my boyfriends family, and my own apartment are dealing with bed bugs/fleas. this vacation turned into a total nightmare and i dont reccomend this hotel to ANYONE!!! the pictures are a lie. the rooms are tiny, moist, and they have bugs. its going to cost a good penny to get rid of these creatures the hotel as so generously given to us.

The resort was wonderful! It is a huge property so be prepared to walk; a lot! If your budget permits gets a room in The Reserve. The suites are fantastic! The staff is Amazing and the service is excellent! Be ready to drink lots of "Fruity" drinks. i.e. Mud Slides, Pina Colada, Mango Passion Fruit Delights. But I was tired of the sweet, fruity stuff after a while.

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Grounds were amazing with tropical landscaping. No bugs. Beach was beautiful.
