Excellence Punta Cana Luxury Adults Only - All Inclusive

Excellence resort is just that excellent. We booked a swim-out junior suite and spent every afternoon in the pool. It was great having the pool right at the door. The staff was great. They were very accomodating to our every need. The last night we had a private romantic dinner on the beach. The staff helped make that night perfect and the all of our trip EXCELLENT!

We had a great time at Excellence Punta Cana. It was our first stay at this resort and first trip to the DR. We had an awesome vacation with plenty to do, especially since it rained most days. But, despite the rain, we enjoyed our week in paradise. The rooms were very nice, we had an ocean view suite in building 3, with very nice views of the beach and wedding gazebo. Overall the food was wonderful, but our favorite restuarants were CheZ Isabelle and Agave. There were quite a few activities that you could participate in each day, many places to get a cold drink, pool and beach drink service and entertaining shows each night. Be sure to hang around the lobby Martini bar after the show each night to hear the wonderful sax player. Overall we loved this vacation and would return again!

The Excellence Punta Cana was wonderful! The rooms were large and super clean. Even though the resort property is expansive, it was only a short walk to any of the various restaurants, pools, bars, lounge areas. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. In the words of The Excellence's staff, it was excellente!

It was so much better than any review we read. It was the honeymoon of our dreams. If you can complain about this place, you probably think Disney is unfriendly. The place is outstanding all of the way around. We'll be back soon!

It was a wonderful experience. I really hope to come back for a longer period of time. I feel we did not have enough time to enjoy it.

The Excellence was just that excellent in every manner of speaking. You are greeted at check in with a glass of champagne. And the staff was so very helpful and concerned you really feel like you are the most important. The dining was great and the food was superb.And the amenities and activities daily were all but perfect. Thank you Excellence for the best honeymoon we could imagine.

The Excellence Punta Cana was beautiful resort with an abundance of bars, pools, and activities (although most at an additional cost). I have been to other all-inclusive resorts in the Carribean, all of which were great experiences, but most lacked the exceptional dining and hotel accomodations of the Excellence Punta Cana. The rooms were air conditioned, well cleaned, and spacious. The hotel staff really made the trip all the more memorable and amde every effort to ensure your comfort. The resort had a great deal of beach front property with every couple able to lounge on the beach under a thatch umbrella. Additionally, the beach features gently rolling waves, unlike other resorts in Punta Cana that have more of a Gulf of Mexico type beach front. The only complaints I have are that the resort is about an hour away from the airport, and transportation is not provided by the hotel. Additionally, the pools are cleaned nightly, so they close at 7:00pm. Overall, I would recommend this resort to any couple.

This was the top resort in Punta Cana and I was very satisfied with their services. We upgraded to the Excellence Club, which I recommend. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The nightly entertainment was great. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would recommend this place to anyone and for the extra $100 or so dollars, do the upgrade! The drive is about an hour, but worth it. OH, there was no ironing board or iron! That was a bummer but its so relaxed that you sort of don't care if your shirt is wrinkled! The other thing, the souvenirs are all JUNK! I was bummed with the on property shopping but we got shirts and necklaces for the kids which they liked and we have pictures for our memories! The beds were 100% comfortable. They were a little harder than I like, but again, liveable! They have nice birds, ducks, and flamingos on the property that are friendly....except for the ducks! Beware! Their mexican restaurant was GREAT! Good pizza too. We did room service almost every morning which was such a treat. Maid service was excellent. We didn't care for the french restaurant and didn't get to try the Mediterranian. Dont' do the casino! They take all your money because they play with different rules and then they claim not to be able to speak english!!!!

The Excellence Punta Cana was almost totally all inclusive with very few exceptions (spa, jacuzzis located at the spa, special bottles of wine). The activities that were scheduled every half hour were great. The staff who were in charge of the activities did a great job. The only opportunities for improvement would be related to prompt handling of room maintenance issues (we had a very slow drain in the shower and had to turn off the water while soaping to keep it from overflowing. We reported it day 2 but it was not addressed.) The other issue related to asking directions for locations around the resort...many staff directed us to incorrect locations. The food was great, the atmosphere relaxing, clean and the customer service excellente, excellente, excellente!

The hotel and staff were incredible. Very friendly and Excellent Service. The only thing we were not satisfied was with mattress, it was a bit uncomfortable. Everything else was extrordinary.
