Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe - All Inclusive

this was the best hotel from my very rich traveler experiance.food,beachs,pools,service.very nice and perfect place.only check in is problematic,but is some internet problems with the main barcelo in barcelona

The hotel accomodations were superb! The junior suite was awesome and the room service was excellent! The oceanfront views, access to drinks, friendliness of the staff was great!

We stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe. We had a Junior suite deluxe ocean view. We had really an amazing time and would go back in a heartbeat! Check-in was fast, 15 min and we were in our room, and what a room! Big, clean, well furnished, AC perfectly working. They came to clean it in the morning, then to refill the minibar, then again in the evening during the dinner time to tidy up again, great service. You have very different choices for dinner: French, Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Spanish restaurants, steak house, fish restaurant, sport bar, which is open 24/7. A part for these, you have different buffet restaurant, where you have a large choice and are always open. I suggest to go at the restaurant you've chosen at 6p.m., when they open, a take a reservation. We had no problem, we tried most of the restaurants, but the only night we did not reserve a table they were all fully booked and we had to go to the buffet. The stretch of beach in front of the Barcelo Palace Delux is by far the nicest. They remove seaweed from the sand every day, and we never had any trouble getting beach chairs. All inclusive is really all inclusive, you have good drinks, good wine, good food whenever you want, and wherever you are. We visited the Gym once, they have very good gym machines and instructors were there for helping you. The majority of the staff are helpful and very friendly. they smile all the time. We had a fantastic time at this hotel! We had absolutely no problem with the room, the food, the drinks, and the service. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

After not being assigned the "Ocean front" room that I had paid for upon check in, I was done so rightaway once I brought it to their attention. After that, everything was great. My personal favorite were my morning hours spent in the well equipped gym and the spa area which consists of a sauna, turkish hammam and hydrotherapy pools! Although the employees speak primarily Spanish, they make EVERY attempt to understand, are very friendly and one is able to make one's needs understood. I overheard someone speak about the lack of English fluency; but if you go to another non English speaking country, whether in Europe or South America, one does need to accommodate and not be on a "high horse"! Great food, good beach and a great Spa Area!

Had a great time at the resort. The beaches are amazing.....THe rooms are very clean and spacious. Food was sosme of best at an all inclusive resort and that is saying a lot I have been to over 30 resorts but the best was the people.... If you took the time to say Hola and talk to them (my spanish is very limited) they were so friendly and helpful. Am already booking my next trip back and will be staying at this resort

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was as clean as clean can be. Never had any problems!! Food was alright, some good, some not so good but you just needed to be selective. Again you are in a foreign country. All in all I would give the hotel an A+. The beach was great, the pool was not cold! Even though some did not speak english we never had a hard time communicating. Great time!!

Our stay at Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe was unbelievable. They have truly created a paradise get away. We visited the resort a couple of years ago and loved it so much we decided to go back, but the renovations they've made in the past year have only made the resort better. Everything is included in the trip and there is nothing you could possibly want that is not provided. The service was amazing, the food was incredible, and the amenities never stop coming. First thing I did when I got home was start planning a trip back for next year!

Overall resort was extremely nice. Room was excellent. Staff was very nice(some language barriers). For the most part, food was above average. Buffets are good. Japanese restaurant is excellent. Pools and beach are crowded, but there are always open chairs on the beach. For the price, this is definitely worth every penny.

It is a beautifully maintained resort. Plenty to do on the grounds and great tours available. All the staff at hotel were very pleasant, always smiling. We would definitely go again.
