Just back from a week stay at this pleasant little hotel. For the price I paid for a double room it's well worth consdering this resort again. Internal decor is quite nice. Positives: friendly and very helpful staff without exeption, the most redeeming quality of the hotel is the staff. Special thanks to Isael, the front desk guy at night, he was very helpful and patient. The buffet is OK there's not a lot of diversity but you can find something that you want to eat! The animation staff did a very good job they entertain you all day long. Don't forget this is the Atlantic side, so some days the ocean is rough and not in a blue at all most of the time. The beach however really disappointed me. They clean a generous portion of it for the people staying that the resort but walk a bit further in any direction and there is just garbage everywhere. The beach is also very very windy at all times, which is okay by me but others had a problem with it. The sand isn't that perfectly white soft stuff, its mixed in with a lot of small shell pieces. And the water isn't that beautiful Caribbean turquoise.. its quite dark/greenish.. very mediocre. In general it wasn't up to my standards, but this wasn't a luxury vacation for me anyway. It was good for what it was meant to be...a quick getaway to a warm beach location. In my opinion this isn't the place for me if I was to take a longer vacation. You get what you pay for. I went into this not expecting a four or five star hotel, so I wasn't disappointed with what I got. I just wouldn't go there again because it wasn't my cup of tea. But, it is decent if you are looking to just get away from it all for a day or two without breaking the bank

Good value for price but staff need customer service training especialy at reception ,they need to add more security on the beach to chase locals from trying to sell u things,very ennoying when u just want to relax and the hotel dont even do a thing about it ,they even have workers at buffet entrance to hassle guest to sell their company package for future vacation,booked only for 4 days and was glad at the end to check out. Not a friendly resort for singles.

I really enjoyed being in this hotel! The staff was very nice & entertaining, the drinks were great, food was just ok tho def not what I expected! I thought we'd have amazing Spanish food but it was just ok. Overall I did enjoy a fab vacation with my fiancé! Days by the pool having drinks, beach, th night shows and disco! Weekend was more fun bc locals were around! We did not have time to try the Mexican or Brazilian restaurant bc the reservations were all booked.

upon my arrival, I was informed that my room will not be ready for the next 3 hours, its wasn t a good situation when you travel with a 5 years old kid, so i was forced to pay and addtl $180.00 for an upgrade room, it seems that s the way the staff sells their upgrate, on top, i was not able to try any restaurants in the resorts, 2 days on a row i was told that the computer system was down, i was unable to make reservation, the third time i was told at 9 15 am that they were no more tables and all the 3 restaurants were booked, basically, i hate foe 4 days at the cafeteria self service, which was pretty disgusting. overall, i wont recommend it at all, i am hoping that i can get a refund for the $180.00 that i paid addtl. also in that resort, you get harrass every day by the staf who try to sell you everything from cigares, tee shirts, boat rides, overall again a terrible experience specially with a kid.

The resort sits in a excluded complext where no much action takes place, so it is not conducive of young couples. However, it is a good value for the money.

Food was undercooked meat was raw need to serve yellow rice need to have better fruit

I went for my birthday (Halloween) and based on the descripton was expecting better quality. I was upgraded to newer rooms as my original room had a distinct mildew odor. My new room had a leaking roof with water entering under the door and ants taking over the coffee machine which I never used. The food was average and although there were restarurants on-site they had the same food. I have never had syrup that tastes like oil before, so use jelly. Definitely beware the scam artists on-site selling everything from t-shirts, jewelry to vacation memberships

The only real complaint would be the food. It is just average, nothing special. The staff was friendly.
