Sleek and chic Danish design on the city square
Airy open spaces and plenty of light fill The Square Hotel Copenhagen, set on the hopping City Hall Square, the "Radhuspladsen." three night stay. Great location three blocks from central railroad, one block from tourist info, one block from Tivoli. Clean. Internet in lobby only. Great breakfast on top floor at reasonable cost (approx $10) Bed not the best. I could feel it every time my husband moved. Doors on elevator and front entrance make handling luggage difficult.

Great stuff

NICE HOTEL. ROOM WAS GOOD

POSITIVE. WE HAD A STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM. ONLY DOWNSIDE: CURTAINS NOT LONG OR WIDE ENOUGH TO KEEP OUT THE SUNLIGHT IN THE MORNING. I SUGGESTED TO THEM THAT THEY FIX THIS BY EXTENDING THE WINDOW CURTAINS. OTHER THAN THAT, HOTEL WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED

Beautiful weather

The Square Hotel is very well located near everything in central Copenhagen. Although some construction is going on in the area it was not a problem. It's just a block to Tivoli and another block to the National Museum and the train station. The hotel has excellent wi fi in the lobby and wire hookup in rooms. The room is small by US standards, but manageable if you have come off a cruise ship. The beds are way too soft and the pillows even softer. The desk staff was very attentive and helpful. The restaurant on top floor serves breakfast and we thought might be a little expensive. However, for the quality and variety we found it a pretty good deal. I believe it was 110 dk. A very serviceable hotel considering price and location.

Get the Copenhagen One Pass. Available as either a 24 or 72 hour option. You get all the transportation options (bus, train, subway and canalboat) free and many, many museums. A great deal if you are able to use half of it in this beautiful and friendly city

Tivoli park is nice and great for kids of all ages.

The Australian restaurant straight opposite the hotel is excellent. Expensive but the food was exceptional. Try one of the set 3 course menus. We had the fish one and it was superb.

Perfect Location

The location of the hotel is great. We took the train from the airport which was only a 13 minute ride, and then the hotel was a 5 minute walk from the station. The hotel is close to all the shopping and restaurants. Neighborhood is very safe. Hotel staff was very friendly and offered suggestions of restaurants and bars when asked. The rooms are very small, but I did not spend much time in the room, so it was not a big deal to me. The room had the typical 2 European twin beds pushed together, but they were actually comfortable. You can rent bikes directly from the hotel. The bikes are amazing and are worth paying the price even though you can rent them cheaper from the city. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the shampoo and conditioner offered. The smell was awful, so I would just bring your own if you are staying here.

Spiseloppen - in Christiania, Just outside of true Copenhagen - It was probably about a half hour bike ride. The ride over there is beautiful and the food was the most amazing food the entire trip. It is hard to find, but just ask anyone in Christiania, they should be able to offer you directions as there are no addresses there.

Very Nice Hotel

Very nice hotel- Small rooms but it is Europe... Breakfast was too expensive though. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Perfect location.

Unsatisfied with breakfast. We

Unsatisfied with breakfast. We picked this hotel because in your list, breakfast was included, but they could not see it in the voucher, so we had to pay extra for it. They were not willing to contact (website) to rectify it.
