Worse customer service. Rip off!
We arrived at 2 am to the hotel to find out that a 4 person room is allotted a KING SIZE BED in spite that the booking was made for 2 standard Queens. We were then provided cots which were terrible; the springs were coming out. Staff refused to lay out the cots saying "its not their job". We were also told earlier that we will have to pay $15 for parking and upon arrival were told that we need to pay $20 for parking because we had a big size car which does not make sense because we would still occupy one parking spot. The next day we spoke to the management, were refunded our $5 difference, shifted into a different room and given complimentary breakfast. Upon entering the breakfast area we were told that we could only have cold food, which was not being replenished frequently. Despite paying full amount, we were charged $106 for security deposit. The amount which has not be reversed yet. Generally, terrible experience with this hotel and it is mediocre in nature given its cost.

Horrible place to be in
There was drainage issues. Water was stuck in the sink. The room had a bad smell. The entire floor was smelling bad. Looked like never been cleaned before. We had to move out of the hotel the next day.

Not worth the money
Stayed at this hotel weekend of Sep 21 with the wife and 2 kids. Booked a studio. Will never go back. Everything advertized about this hotel was a lie. From the min we got there, we had to load our own luggage into a cart, bring it to our room in another tower. We were told the hotel does not have bell boys. 4* hotel in the heart of Montreal does not provide that service. Internet only available in the lobby, exercise equipment either old or broken. Shower was dirty, bath tub had cracks. Worst part, kids slept on the sofa bed, they had the worst sleeping experience, they literally had marks on their backs from the mattress springs. I would not recommend this hotel for singles or couples especially with children unless you like to be downtown, pay more and get less.

Doesn't Deserve High Rating
Good for the money. Check-in receptionist was very unfriendly, bathroom/shower was disgusting, $15.00 to park?, hotel had a skeezy criminal feel to it. On the positive side the hotel was about a block walk from St. Catherine St and the best around for the price.

it was alright, nothing special...
the hotel was blah... got up to the hotel room and the room was not stocked properly, 2 littls almost finsihed rolls of toilet paper, no extras, and on to the pool, which was the size of a maybe queen sized bed. it was pretty far away from all the attractions so you would have to drive everywhere. and the parking lot attendants were really poor characters. where did all the friendly people go....

Not a 4 star
This is wrongly categorized. It was fine for a 2 or maybe 3 star, but in no way a 4 star - and the staff even said it was not a 4 star, so Orbitz is wrong. Very disappointing. I will be calling Orbitz to see what they can do about it.

Terrible Rating
Not a "4 Star" Hotel
This hotel is far from 4 star. The rooms were not up to date and they had a funky humidity smell! For the price it was definitely not 4 star. The "pool" was about 6 feet wide by 20 feet long and the trees and apartment buildings were so tall that you barely get any sun. The pictures and lists of amenities are very deceitful. I did not even bother to check out their "spa".

NOT 4 Stars
The hotel is fine. The location is fine. The rooms are worn. The rooms with kitchenettes are located in the condo tower. There is no wireless internet in the condo tower. The room is equipped with one internet cable which made it difficult since my companion and I each had a laptop and iPad, so we had to switch off who could get online. The room smelled like moth balls and was overall run down. The housekeeper took a pair of pjs that were left on the bed and it took a full 24 hours for the hotel to locate them, and by then we were back in the US.

Quick getaway
We received an upgrade to a room with a kitchenette .... The staff was nice. Breakfast was good..Wifi was terrible and moody -I had to buy a data plan for my phone so I can access Internet. The room was comfortable but had a moldy old smell to it. Won't be returning.

Great location
Pros: Very large room, well equipped (desk, chairs), no refrigerator, though. Prime location in downtown Montreal. Cons: You have to pay for spa, and pool which by the way are closed when you need it. Overall based on price/location was a good choice.
