average

My experience there was average and what could be expected for Montreal. I really feel that the accommodations could have been more current. The bedding seemed to be very old, soiled, and stained. Air freshness also seemed to be stale and not appropriate.

Very ordinary

We decided to take a last minute drive from the NYC to Canada for a long weekend getaway. Montreal is a great city the hotel was conveniently located near the Village (Gay). The reality is this hotel provided everything a hotel is suppose to provide....Clean sheets, and a place to lay your head at night. We spent very very little time in the room. We were in Canada to enjoy the city. Parking and a continental breakfast would have been great if it was included especially for 155.00 per night.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Do the City Tour Bus (GrayLine). This is a great way to see and learn about city. Get the 2 day pass so you can use it as transportation. You will save on taxi and bus expenses.

Decent Hotel, Good Price

This place has mixed reviews so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty clean and comfortable. The rooms are old but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was pretty great. A lot of place are walking distance and one of the major metro stops is half a block away- from that metro stop you can get anywhere easily.

Great location for the Village and Latin Quarter

Great hotel for the money. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Bathroom was average, but clean. Restaurant/Bar are nice after being out all day. Only downside is parking at $17/day. The garage is located below the building and is small. You are required to back in the parking spot and it is typically full (guessing about 20 parking spaces). Easy walk to the Village and only blocks to the Latin Quarter. Would definitely return, however not with a car (rented one and didn't use it once for fear of losing the parking space).

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

3-4 block walk to the Village which is alive with great restaurants, people watching and nightlife (clubs and bars). Just beware of the many begging for money...they are everywhere!

Perfect for stay when exploring Montreal

Good Internet, nice clean rooms and bathrooms, nice restaurant in the hotel so that you don't have to go out in the cold. Pretty close to Denis Street shopping district and China Town. Not far from the Catherine street shopping district but far enough that you should wear your walking shoes. A metro station right next to the hotel...Greyhound bus station a block away. No gym though

Decent location decent price

Very close to China town and Italian Quarters. Just a couple of blocks from Greyhound bus station. Right next to Catherine street but the main part of the street doesnt start before walking a mile or so, so make sure you wear your walking shoes. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good internet connection but no gym/fitness centre

Good location at decent price

I was visiting Montreal for a few days for work and decided to spend a weekend too. Its close to Catherine street but a good Mile walk before the busy part of the street begins. So make sure you'r wearing your walking shoes at all times. Very close to China Town and the Italian Quarters. Comfortable rooms, no gym, good internet connection.
