The Saint-Malo is a charming European-style hotel ideally located in the heart of Montreal. Montreal train get-a-way

the hotel room was extremely small and could have been cleaner. we were there to enjoy the city so only in our room to sleep. The hotel is very close to the Metro and downtown Montreal

A dump !

A dump. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in a lot of places. I have never before elected to write a review of my experience. It is a measure of our disappointment and irritation that I am compelled to write this one. We selected this hotel based on the description and pictures on its online listing. Instead of the modest but pleasant room we were led to expect, we were given a grim, cell-like chamber in the basement. The furniture was rickety, unpainted plywood held-up the air conditioner. It felt tired and depressing. Apart from the room being so unpleasant, we felt we'd been tricked; that the description we'd based our decision on was deceptive. A classic bait and switch. Maybe there are nicer rooms somewhere in this hotel. But ours was not the only one on the "lower level" and I promise those are not worth your money.

good hotel for the price

Stayed 3 nights visiting with family.. the Staff was accommodating ... the rooms are small, but clean! within walking distance to shopping, night life, and restaurants

A very good lacation.

We had a very nice stayed in this hotel I loved the location the only thing is the bed was very small.

There?s a restaurant very very close La Bulangerie I love it, is very nice to take breakfast.
