Way too Expensive
The hotel looked nice when we first got there. The staff was nice and the service was good but that's about all I have nice to say about my stay. They charge for the internet and parking, the breakfast buffet was overpriced and the pool on the roof was small. The A/C in the room was bad and the shower was worse. It had an old shower head with hot water that came and went and stayed cold for a period of time. The door locks are old and difficult. I'm sure the hotel was amazing when it started but the only update to the hotel I think was the flat screen TVs in the rooms.

Great Montreal Experience
I made my reservation from the caribbean and was really impressed by the price, availability, location and service provided. It was a great first for me.

Nice comfortable hotel in Montreal
Nice room, helpful friendly staff. Small kitchenette, great for morning coffee and evening snacks. The air conditioning went down one night and they immediately repaired it. Good restaurant for breakfast. The only complaint was the elevators were slow but that seems to be the case everywhere in Montreal. Close to the Metro. Nice view of the mountain. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and come back for another stay.

Could have been better
Location was great in downtown Montreal. The rooms were okay but only had an old 20 inch tube TV. Also the rooms have regular keys that don't work well in the locks. Overall, good value but I think it needs some updating.

convenient location, congenial and helpful staff
This hotel is a bit quirky. It is in a very convenient location and easy to get to almost any neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette which was great. Having a fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave allowed me to make breakfast, have snacks and if I wanted, could cook entire meal. Furnishings need upkeep and updating, for example, a number of things needed fixing, light bulbs were out, sink clogged, etc and didn't have feeling of upscale hotel. I also didn't feel it was really clean. But staff extremely accommodating and whatever I asked for was responded to.

The good visit
the accommodations were great and left little to be desired. The maid service was good but, forgot to provide us with hand towels on two occasions. However, when we asked for towels the response was immediate.Staff was helpful with advise which made our vacation most enjoyable.

Great location and good prices
Fantastic location on a main avenue in Montreal and a cheerful room. The elevator is incredibly slow, the hotel parking for even a tiny SUV is nonexistent and everything close is very expensive. Aspects of the rooms could use renovation. For example, the small fridge in our room was old and hardly worked. The TV was tiny an old. On the other hand, things were clean, the room was large, the Beds comfortable, and it was THE BEST VALUE IN MONTREAL!

don't ever , ever stay in this hotel
Hotel staffs are terrible , they don't know how to say hi to the guest, hotel need renovation, one thing I would like to bring up if they don't know I can help (saflok program ) they still use hard key, If some one come to my room how can they check it?, smell in the room is horrible, bathroom is very small, no hot water , and shower is just enough for us to wash hand can not take shower , elevator was not working , must take stairway.and they want to charge extra $25 each night for my son stay with us ( [...]) but after I gave her my booking paper [...] and I asked her why ? then she said this time Ok ? what did she mean ?[...] this is horrrrible. fitness center is a joke, Tv in guestroom is just antena ( this is 21st century ) please offer some option like movie and more
