Hotel Chateau St-Marc
I went for an anniversary occasion with my husband we arrived late in the evening but there was a smile waiting for us when we arrived and a great help with luggage and best is the welcome drink. The room was so beautiful that we really felt so important . My husband travelled a lot and said this Hotel did not go cheap with furniture and the bed sheets were so clean and high quality T400 100% cotton the bed was so comfortable to sleep. in The bathroom was clean and had marble everywhere. The Hotel is so private and quiet that we did not hear anything happening inside nor outside. The room has smoke detectors and clear exit signs I felt so secure. In our rooms we had 2 telephones we called reception so many times for questions and room service and always helped us with great help and amazing speed. The breakfast has an amazing variety of Yogurt, many kind of cereals and bread croissant etc. desert is amazing. I have been told that for the safety of guest all items on the meals are prepared by a reputable company that follows all codes for food safety the same company that supplies Tim Hortons and other reputable food retailers. They are adding new rooms and suite and solarium on roof expected to finish soon and for the guests comforts they closed and rerouted some rooms. The hotel is rated the way it is by the ministry of tourism and I agree with all the stars they were given. I think the price is very reasonable for the rating and I don’t want to pay double the rate for things not important anyway. When we left we had asked for a wake-up call early and amazingly everything was ok and we left on time YOU MUST GO THERE!!!!! ITS AMAZING ITS LIKE BEING IN A CASTLE:)))))))))

Not as advertized
While the people who run this hotel are lovely, it is definitely NOT a 5 starred hotel as advertized. If anything, it is a 2-3 star B&B. Not what we wanted when we booked our visit. The photographs are deceiving. We still can't figure out how the exterior photographed so nicely. We actually had to walk through another bedroom to get to ours. Most of the full breakfast was microwaved frozen food. Our balcony turned out to be more of an emergency exit at the back of the building. So, if you want to stay at a clean B&B, you might want to consider the Hotel Chateau Sant Marc. But if you want the services and amenties of a Five Star Hotel, don't be fooled by the advertizing and stay clear of this establishment. .

Our "room" turned out to be the equivalent of a small condo with king bedroom, large kitchen and living room, plus bath with shower. We were very comfortable and could spread out. The staff were exceptional with good advice on locations and sights as well as restaurants. Short two block walk to St. Catherine street which is the heart of shopping. Our next stay in Montreal will be back at the Hotel Chateau St. Marc.

my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel chateau st marc, montreal. the place was just gorgeous!! outstandingly comfortable & amazingly beautiful rooms with excellent facilities. for the price we paid, it was simply awesome. halal food was perfect for our needs. thank you to ms kate (and marilou) who were very helpful with our luggage, not to mention the personalised serving of our lavish breakfast. merci to mr ibrahim too for the vip treatment. it was a superb conclusion to our 2-week memorable trip to canada; just the right place to spoil my better half. highly recommended!!!

Great Place to Stay
We really enjoyed staying here. The staff was so friendly, it made us feel like we were at home and not just at a hotel or from a different country. I strongly recommend this hotel and if we return to canada i will be staying here again.

Hidden Treasure!
I was nervous about going here and unbelievably surprised. Best Service, Best Accomodations, Best Value. You cannot ask for any place better! Top Notch! They make you feel like a King or Queen. Breakfast was freshly prepared. I travel for work and go to alot of hotels and by far this was the Best!

Adorable chateau!
Upon arriving at this chateau, we were greeted by friendly staff, they helped us with parking and with directions to nearby attractions. Our room was beatiful and clean. It was equipped with coffee/tea, a mid size fridge and we were lucky enough to have a large balcony! The only disappointment was the internet connection, it only worked one day out of the three we were there. We would definately stay here again
