Decent Hotel
I was expecting a bit more from the rooms, and the inside. The Hotel website made it seem more extravagant. Pool was rather small, did not have a steam room, the basic hotel rooms were average, I feel they should have been priced more in the $80-$100 range rather than $110 plus, but I wont make a huge deal for a few bucks. The Hotel entrance was beautiful, staff was very nice ad informative, I would have liked to have a person who was fluent in English as there was a small bit of a communication barrier at times. Parking was reasonable with it being right below the hotel a rate of $24 per day wasn't bad, although I've had parking in MTL before for $40 total from Friday-Sun. The views from the hotel are stunning! It's right in the heart of downtown and transportation was within a moments reach. Montreal has moved on up as one of my favorite destinations to stay at. The city is just so alive and full of culture, minus the people who have a vendetta against Americans. If you have yet to take a trip to this beautiful city I highly recommend it!

Very nice hotel, perfect location
I was in town for the Penguins - Canadiens game. The hotel was a short walk from the Bell Centre, Old Montreal, and the subway so it was a perfect location. The hotel felt a little old in areas, but the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Good for an overnighter
Pros: Staff were very friendly and willing to speak English Location was excellent. Five minute walk from the train station. Ten minute walk to the Bell Centre. Bathroom clean but looked like it hasn't been recently updated. Beds were comfortable Cons: Just noticed a lot of dust on the air return vent. Overall: I'd stay there again.

Great Stay!
We stayed over at the Delta centre-ville during our long weekend trip. The Hotel and lobby area is really nice and spacious and is a short walk to local attractions. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained. The sheets were clean and there was a big flat screen TV with a decent sized desk with a nice selection of multimedia and power outlets. Cons: no WI-FI in the rooms, and no mini-fridge.

Great getaway deal!
My experience at the Mode Room was great! The room was clean. The double beds were comfortable. The view was okay. The location is a walking distance from Old Montreal and close to the Metro if you come out of the right exit.

Great way to end the summ
adequate family vacation
The location of Delta was great and easy to find. our room was dated and a little dirty I saw stains on the floor and the plaster in the bathroom around the tub and the tiles was coming out. There were new stains on the bathroom wall paper from the time we checked in to when we left. The sheet was ripped our first night but they did change it after. We were too tired to complain when we arrived. There was no wi-fi in the room we had to go to the lobby and use the wi-fi. The computers were slow but complimentary also in the lobby. The staff was helpful and we were able to park in the hotel easily enough. The hotel is renovating the rooms we saw signs for it. We would go back after the renovations of the rooms and hopefully there won't be a labor strike happening. I would recommend this hotel to a friend if they have children that play around a lot as it was adequate and I did not have to worry about making the room dirty. I would not recommend to a friend going for a retreat type of vacation.

Montreal
When we ate at the hotel restaurant it was the only place in Montreal I felt taken advantage of when it came to the exchange rate. There were some issues with the wi-fi in the lobby. It would be nice to have complementary wi-fi in the room.

Not a good value...
Out stay was rather uncomfortable. We were given a room first on the 10th floor. When we arrived, the toilet was running. The phones didn't work and we were not facing the water as what we were told. With a pregnant wife, 3 year old and luggage we had to go back down to get a new room. We were the put on the 20th floor. The room was ok at first but then soon all of us were sneezing uncontrollably. I mentioned this to the front desk and all they did was offer one free night of parking. The hotel is not as close to the underground city as portrayed. You have to walk uphill and cross a busy street to get there. Next time I will spend more to stay in old Montreal.

The noise is awfully unacceptable. coming from everywhere including elevators, the sink and the air conditioner. Unless you can find a high floor room away from the elevators.
