We stayed in this hotel for just a night, and the service was just amazing. The owner was very supportive in providing any information. The metro station was just a walk away. I already suggested this hotel to my friends, and will return here for another stay for sure.

Don't waste your time.
If you are going there after September till May, bring your own electric heater. Location, is to closest metro about 10-15 min. Rooms are too small. You have to share bathrooms and showers. I don't think they clean the blankets and the rest. Just be careful w/this "HOTEL". I do not know who gave them 3 stars.

Convenient for a short stay
We had rush trip to montreal and needed to get the cheapest room near centre-ville. The building is old and it feels like a hostel more than a hotel, but it worked well. It offered everything they said and more. We had a shared bathroom room, and showers were clean and had adequate water pressure. The staff was more than welcoming and good natured. We found wifi in the lobby only, with speed that wasn't that fast but was enough.

Very good experience! Will definitely come back!
Me and my husband had great time in Montreal for a long weekend. We enjoyed our stay in Auberge Manoir Hotel! First of all, wanted to mention the remarkable service by Hotel crue! Everyone was super nice and helpful! Should we have any question regarding city attractions, parking, driving directions - the receptionist was more than welcome to give us a reasonable piece of advise! The Hotel offered free breakfast, parking, internet. We could use the kitchen facility at any time during our stay. The Hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood of Montreal. Driving to the center of the city by car took us about 15 minutes. 25 min to the Int Airport. Subway station is also pretty close. We had a room with private bathroom. Our room was clean and quiet, had fridge and TV. You can find coffee machine, cattle, bigger fridge in the Hotel Kitchen which is open for 24 hours. So we enjoyed a cup of hot tea after busy day in the city! We recommend this Hotel to ones who travel on a budget. Very good experience!

It's hard to find free parking in Montreal. The signes are confusing. We came up with the idea that private parking of $8-10 is more reasonable than taking chances with free street park and muni-meters.

Joy in the world
You get what you pay for. So be happy with it.
The location is kind of far from everything else that is for tourists, but it's not that bad, if you have a car. Please note that driving in Montreal could be a little bit of a disaster. The building was kinda old, but you can't complain, since you are not paying hundreds of dollars for a one-night stay. Breakfast was kind of a joke. The glass for milk and orange juice was SO small that I thought I was drinking tequila shots in the morning. That has been said, the overall quality of the place was ok, only because of the price, comparing to those which cost $1200 a night closer to the center of the city.

low price, nice hotel and staff, free parking, average location
Our room was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The staff was very helpful, she helped us plan the itinerary and informed us about events. There is a balcony on the 3rd floor with a nice view of the river and one can see the fireworks on weekend nights from there. Free breakfast and free parking is a great bonus. One thing we didn't like was the neighbourhood around the hotel, walking to and from the subway stations wasn't pleasant, try and avoid it by taking bus 34 to Papineau and back.

So different from picture!!
This hotel was second worst hotel in my life... First, my reserved room was SO OLD. The bottom of wall was a little bit clacked and dirty. Second, I could not find the control item for room air conditioner. Third, "share bathroom" 's shower did not work. Just cold water... Finally, I claimed above worse things... I strongly not recommend you to book this hotel. Especially, you prefer clean amenities, room or bed, you should avoid this hotel. But, if you need low value, you might book... The owner was so kind woman.

Great Value
for 40 - 50 bucks a night you really cant go wrong with this hotel. perfect for the traveller on a budget in need of a bed and shower. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. This isn't a hotel for someone looking to live like a king but it does provide a nice place to sleep with a great view and location on st. catherine. I would recommend it to everyone who wants money in their wallet, but not a picky family looking for a giant room.

Friendly and helpful management, but hotel was not up to par. Clean but lacking in amenities, such as shortage of towels, no tissues, no clock, TV defective or very poor signal. Neighborhood not the most desirable. Highly inflated room rates, due to Formula 1 race going on,

A lovely place to put your head
The hotel is actually a boarding house of sort, and most rooms don't have a private bathroom or shower. Reading about this in another review, we ordered the deluxe room which does, and it was very much worth the money, especially when you consider the low prices. The woman who received us took 20-30 minutes of her time to help us plan our visit to Montreal, with a map and detailed explanations, and was really helpful in every way. Breakfast, included in the price, left something to be desired. Still, it was enough to get us through the first part of the day. All things considered, this was a good place to stay, especially with a car (although parking space is limited), and the hotel is as close to the downtown area as to the Olympic stadium.
