Very good experience

Beautiful building, very luxurious interiors, nice staff. It was strange that we have to pay for Wifi access in a 4 star hotel. Other thing: spa is independent of the hotel and nothing is include in the price of the room (jacuzzi, etc).

Beautiful Hotel in Great Location

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel located in a great area of the city. The building is gorgeous and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and comfortable. There was no microwave or fridge but this is the third 4 star hotel I have stayed at in Toronto without either of these so I guess it's normal. Free wifi in the lobby but must pay for room internet, as is also normal for this hotel class in Toronto. I would stay here again!

A Great Hotel!

A fantastic location in Downtown Toronto. Minutes away from the Eaton Centre and restaurants along King St. Rooms are large. Would recommend booking a reservation for High Tea at the hotel too!

Perfect for what we wanted

We attended at a wedding at the Rosewater Club, just a block away. We wanted a place to leave our stuff and crash for the night and The King Edward was absolutely perfect for this. They also gladly accommodated our request for an early check-in, making things much easier in the afternoon.

Reception was wonderful!

1st impressions for me are very important, and my 1st impression with this hotel was great. From check in to check out, my stay was great. Walking into this hotel, we were greeted by front desk agent Lucy, and she was easily the most pleasant front desk agent I have dealt with, and I spend approx 200 nights a year in a hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel, location and experience were wonderful. Thanks, Shane

First Class Experience

This hotel lived up to its reputation, everything was first class. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room was spacious and well laid out. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was sizable and functional. The only minor gripe was that Wifi was quite expensive, it should be free in this day and age.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Instead of ordering their expensive continental breakfast for room service, just pop across the road on King Street to the Tim Horton's for coffee and pastries.

Glad I had a discounted rate

The regular rate for our room was high for the decor / cleanliness. It was ok value for me because I was able to use a promo code. The parking / check in procedure is difficult at best. Valet parking pricey and no place to pull up in front of the hotel - very busy street. View from the room was non-existent...just the looked at the other side of the building. Downtown hotel but no view of the city at all.
