Romantic downtown hotel
Ultra-modern hotel with luxurious rooms geared to couples. Great location. But there was no cream for the coffee machine and we had to ask twice before any was provided, And the duvet was far too heavy for the warm weather.

Black and Gold Gal
great weekend splurge
This place was more costly than we usually pick for family vacations, but we were booking late so our options were limited. We wanted someplace within walking distance of Hockey Hall of Fame and other attractions and this was perfect. The room was quite luxurious. Only negative was that the bolt on the safety door lock did not align properly so we couldn't use it. Didn't bother us, but we did report it on check-out and they assured us it would be taken care of immediately. This is a very easy walk to the HHOF, CN tower, Harborfront , and the Distillery District. There are several great brew-pubs nearby (Bier Market, Beer Bistro, C'est What, Mill Street Brewery, Steam Whistle Brewery), and a very good jazz spot, the Reservoir. The breakfast is on the light side, but everything was very fresh and tasty and service was almost too attentive.

This was by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The bed was amazing and the bathroom was by far the best one I have ever used period. If I built a new house I would model it around that bathroom. This room was everything you could ever ask for. Great location too..
