Grand Hotel And Suites Toronto

Very nice stay, staff goes out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is killer! The rooms are very quiet as we there on a holiday weekend but didnt hear any of the commotion on our floor. The pool area lacks in cleanliness and the pix on the website must have been taken several years ago. It was within walking distance to shopping and parks and we never felt ill-at-ease walking the streets even late at night. Church/Wellsely neighborhood is kickin'! Many small ethnic eateries close by. Very diverse culture in Toronto.

This hotel was suggested to us by friends in Toronto. The location was great and even a parking lot was provided for short time parking beside the hotel so our friends could park and collect us from the hotel. The amenities were great and we made full use of the swimming pool and the roof top spa pools. Rooms were very comfortable with plenty of space and all amenities we required. Breakfast was superb and our friends often joined us at breakfast. They decided to return for breakfasts here after we left as it was so good. A great hotel to stay at and the price is so reasonable. I have told all our Canadian friends to book when they are in Toronto.

This hotel was recommended by friends in Toronto. It lived up and surpassed our expectations. The swimming pool was great, the hot tubs on the roof were relaxing, the room was large with a comfortable bed and breakfast was all we wanted with a great selection of hot and cold dishes. We did not use the shuttle service as our friends parked in the complimentary short stay car park and collected us each day. A great hotel that we have recommended to our other Canadian friends. We would certainly stay there next time we are in Toronto.

This hotel isnt as close to the attreactions as many people would like but I had fun walking to them anyway, as well as taking the trolly/subway. The rooms are very nice and large. We ate one dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent. Breakfast came free and was a very good full breakfast. One issue that bothered me was that when we checked in we were told that parking would cost us $20, and then on our bill we noticed that we were charged $20 per day. That seems average in the area but we were unaware and that can get expensive. They have a rooftop hot tub with a projection screen to watch TV on...that was nice!

I was a little nervous about booking the grand hotel it seemed almost too good to be true. Compared to all of the other hotels in the city the price was very reasonable and included amenities that others did not( pool, roof top hot tubs, complimentary breakfast). All three were as good as you could hope for. We will definitely stay here again.
