Man Less Traveled
Good Central Location
This hotel has a very central to a lot of sites in Ottawa. Only $20 (Canadian Dollar) taxi ride from Airport and you can walk to many locations including the Market and Parliament. The only down side was the toilet in our room did not have good suction and got clogged then over-flowed several times. Otherwise good place to stay.

Not bad after initail bumps
We stayed in a junior suite with a kitchenette. I booked the hotel for 2 double beds, and when we got there I asked if we could get a king instead. They said yes, but then gave us a room with one double bed (they wanted to save rooms with 2 beds for more people because it was race weekend). The room could not have been worth the amount we paid, so I had to go back and request my original room back, since you know, I paid to have enough bed space. After that everything was fine. The gym was pretty nice, 3 treadmills, free weights, some lifting equipment, etc. Close to Parilament, getting around town was easy and we didn't have a car.

Business trip
as former Delta property i remembered it well. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and accomated my early arrival time. This was very much appreciated. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable.

Downtown location near Parliament
Easy access to Government sites. Close to Sparks shopping area. Within walking distance of tourist activities. Hotel is starting to look its age. Could do with a modernization in the rooms/hallways.

Great Staff
I stay at the Delta Ottawa yearly for business travel. The staff just could not get any nicer or more hospitable. Check-in (and out) is fast, the rooms are clean, quiet (although an ity-bit dated, which doesn't bother me at all) and the hotel restaurants are well equipped. Loved the beds, and the 4 king size pillows. The location is right downtown, right on a pedestrian mall that takes you down to the outdoor ByWard Market and Rideau Center mall, with Parliament running parallel to that. The gym has a few cardio machines and free weights - I was pleasantly surprised to see what was available there. On one side there is a window to the pool, which is nice, because some hotel gyms can feel really closed-in.

After three trips to Ottawa, I discoverd the ByWard Market. Don't let it take you this long - it's worth the visit.

Great price and location
I enjoyed my stay. The only thing that I would suggest is that the hotel staff offer more assistance to the guest upon check in, such as options of how to get around town, points of interest,reservations needed for transportation to and from the airport. The overall experience was very pleasant.

I visited the Marketplace, which from the hotel is quite a long walk. If I do it again, I would definately recommend taking a bus there. Cab service is a little expensive.

Extremely Rewarding
The staff and accommidations were 100%, The formal resturaunt was breath taking and the service and food were exceptional. Pool and whirl pool were spotless.
