Travelodge Niagara Falls Bonaventure

When we got to the hotel it was very cold outside. We would have to walk outside to get to our room. The woman at the front desk decided to get us another room at the same great rate we got by booking ahead of time. It was awesome. Made for a very nice stay. We will stay there again in the future. Thank you

This was a reasonably priced hotel and it was clean. The hotel had two pools and a hot tub which was an added bonus for the value.

I spent three nights in this hotel. The hallways of the hotel were very hot and smelly. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to go out on the balcony to get to our room the balcony was covered with cigarette butts, beer cans and beer bottles. We took the stairs on several occasions and the trash collected at the bottom of the stairs for the duration of our visit. It was very hot so you can imagine. It really was gross. The lighting in the bathroom and the hotel room was very bad. When we arrived at the hotel the person at the front desk insisted on taking my credit card number. After waiting at the front desk for about 10 minutes one of the hotel people finally came to the desk. She refused to give me a receipt for check out. She said that I would have to get that from Cheap Tickets. I would not recommend this hotel to friends.

What a disappointment! We used to stay at this hotel years ago and would not stay any place else. That has now changed! On this visit, you could tell how the new owners have let the place go. The rooms look like something from the 1950's nothing has been updated except the walls in the bathroom. The boxsprings were filthy and stained, matress had to be at least 10 years old or older. The pillows were about 2 inches thick. Locks on the doors did not work, we had to have our room moved because the air conditioner did not work and the room smelled. Lamp did not work, rusty and lamp shades were fithy. Bath towels were worn and torn. We will never stay here again, nor should you recommned it or put it on your site unless they updated their rooms.

the room was nice, but the a/c conditioner didnt work in the first room we were in, then got switched to another room where it was still hot, couldnt sleep, plus the people next door kept slamming thier door all night, so didnt get much sleep

The staff were attentive and helpful, but the rooms need some very serious updating. The carpeting was stained and worn. The bedding was shabby. The sinks were scratched and old. Not the hotel's fault, but the neighbours were up, shouting and fighting at 1 am. Kind of scary. I realize, for the price, we were taking a risk. Our expectations were too high for the cost. Next time we will increase the budget and find more suitable accommodations.

We had a really nice hotel room except that the smoking room smelled bad because of the smokers, but that was to be expected. The staff was very nice to us too. The location was perfect, it was just like home and then some extra places to eat that we have never heard of, so that helped us be a little more comfortable with where we were. (not at home, but still at home) The hotel was also the perfect distance from the falls so that if we wanted to we could drive a mile and walk the rest of the way to the shopping area and the falls.
