Not bad for what I paid for

Room was clean. A close 10 minute walk to attractions, 20 minute walk to the falls. Paying to park at a hotel is a bit more than I'm use to. The hotel review ad clearly says 2 free hot breakfasts. BUT NOT TRUE. I walked down to Denny's which was so over priced. 2 meals (grand slam and coffee) after the tip, it came to $50.00. I'd understand if it was the Bahamas, where everything has to be flown in, but it's just a bridge to cross.

Better than its star level indicates
We spent July 3rd night here during peak hotel prices. This hotel wasn't cheap but reasonably priced given the dates and we were swayed by its good reviews. We weren't disappointed as it was clean and well maintained, with spacious rooms and good beds. Our 9th floor room had a nice view and higher floor rooms (they go up to the 11th floor) are better in this regard. It's about a mile from Niagara Falls (a very doable walk) and well situated among restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff was courteous and helpful. They charge $20 per hour for checking out past noon (so no routine free late check out till 1pm) but we were told our car can remain in their parking lot till as late as we wanted (it's $9 per day.)

Travelodge Hotel By the Falls
This hotel was not by Niagara Falls at all. It also was not within walking distance for this retired couple. The soda machine and the vending machine was broken.

Great Location and Great Price
Really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is only 10 minute walk from the falls and not even 5 minutes away from Clifton Hill. The check in was easy and fast.

Not bad...
I went the Niagara falls, and I reserved this hotel. The location was good with this budget, and clean, nice staffs, comfortable beds, etc.
