beware
this hotel was totally misrepresented on-line,hotel was unkept,stains on carpets,rooms smelt very musty,not good for health reasons.For a few bucks more you can get a better hotel

Never going back
Poor Inn...they lost my reservation and sent me to their sister hotel a mile down the road. Just as bad. As a lone female traveler, did not appreciate the hotel change due to the distance it created to the sites.

Not the worst
A friend and I wanted an inexpensive , reasonably clean, reasonably convenient place to stay; the Fallsview Lodge fit the bill. The best things about this hotel were the comfortable mattresses and the friendly staff. Our room had not been updated - stains on the carpet, insufficient lighting - and the "one block from the Falls" location was a 20 minute walk, but the price of the room allowed us to make the trip.

Four Brothers Restaurant across the street offers excellent Italian food; prices are more reasonable than the nearby big chain restaurants. Ignore the narrator on the constantly running loop outside the restaurant; his mispronunciation of "gnocchi" kept us from trying the restaurant until our last evening there. What a shame!

Wow. Bad, just BAD
I've stayed in some dives before.... But this one was just nasty. The description said it was just renovatut ed. I'm not sure what could have been worse before. When I got to the room, I was a little confused because the key turned the door handle but the door wouldn't open when I pushed the door. I finally figured out that I had to knock into the door with my shoulder because the door was stuck. I had to laugh because it wasn't even a regular credit card looking key that most hotels have these days. It was a regular house key, I haven't seen this from a hotel in ages. I was a little nervous leaving stuff in the room because there is no room safe. It had an old in-wall style air conditioner which was very loud. The toilet refilled on it's own every 5 minutes or so. The room was dirty (complete with flies), very few towels, at least 2 of the stairwells were blocked off. Not many channels on the tv. NO breakfast. And to top it off, they charge you $10 to park. Next time I'm in Niagara, I'll spend a few extra dollars and stay someplace nicer. I do a LOT of traveling and this is probably among the to 10 worst places I've stayed. I could go on, but you get the point

You get what you pay for.
My experience was what was expected for a two star hotel. I just wanted a clean bed for the night and that was what I got.
