Minor issues distracted from value

Simple things were missing- wash cloths, light bulbs burned out, and a broken hair dryer. While they quickly fixed most of the issues I'm not sure why housekeeping didn't catch them first. Overall the hotel was okay- the room was very quiet for as busy as the hotel was.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

There is a long walk by the streets to get to the falls but if you go to the 1st corner, hang a left and go straight there is a trail that goes down to the falls and cuts the distance down.

Good Price

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Parking $14.00 a night plus tax was a little high for the area. The hotel could use an update even though the rooms were clean it is dated and old.

Deceiving hotel name

The hotel is near the falls, but in no way is there a view of them. You're about a 5-6 block walk from the falls themselves. Hotel staff was great when we checked in, gave us plenty of info on places to go, where to eat (apparently Outback is "fine dining" in Canada!!). I'd say the only complaints are that it's $12 per day parking fee, and the fact that while they state the hotel has WiFi, you aren't able to hold a connection for more than five minutes at a time.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

Fill up your gas tank and get plenty of snacks/drinks BEFORE crossing the border. Prices on everyday items are astronomical.

Niagara

Have no complaints and actually enjoyed my stay. The walk to the falls was enjoyable for all those who enjoy walking. The WeGo bus does go through there if you would like to have transportation to the falls and other areas of attraction.

First time in Niagara

Our stay was fine, the room was comfortable. The price was good, but the breakfast at Ihop connected to the hotel way too expensive.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

On Wed. night we had dinner at Marriot with a few of the falls, and they had a special called "Date Night" $50.00 for two. It was a great price, the food was good. The staff in the Marriot were very friendly and accomadating.

Ramada at the Falls

The hotel is fine. Location to the falls was just a short walk. IHOP in the hotel. The food was good, if not way overpriced. $18.99 for an omelet? To be fair though, every restaurant in the vicinity of the falls on the Canadian side is way overpriced. Nevertheless, the visit to the falls was wonderful. Be sure to visit both sides, American & Canadian. Wear comfortable shoes for all the walking you will be doing.l Visit Niagara Falls State Park on American side. Breathtaking views all over the place. Also, might recommend going after the summer tourist season.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Stay on the Canadian side. Lots of hotels and restaurants to choose from. While visiting the area take the short ride to Niagara on the Lake. Beautiful little town and a welcome break from the tourists at the falls.
