Howard Johnson Express Inn - Niagara Falls

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice and clean.

Staff was super duper friendly. Room met my standards. Quite warm for the cool nights. Very close to Falls as well as QEW. I would stay here again.

This was my third trip back in the last three years so since I keep coming back I must like it and I do. Something new this year was the waffle maker for the free breakfast which was very nice and the waffles were good too. Also, they had breakfast cereal, raisin bran and frosted corn flakes. Breakfast was from 7-9am. Clean room and comfortable bed. I can only think of one small problem that I can complain about. The carpet in the room could use good scrubbing or better yet a new carpet. It was a little sticky.

the worst hotel in the world! based on the photos and prices ($97/night), we thought it would be a decent hotel, it turned out to be a nightmare! it was incredibly run-down, everything was broken and non-functional. The hotel was incredibly dirty- I refused to use the hot tub or the bead spread cover. I have never paid that much money for an awful hotel like this, I will never stay in Niagara Falls again, hotels think they can charge any price for any pigsty.

Niagara falls should be seen from the Canadian side. It will leave you awestruck. And if you go to Canada to see Niagara falls and happen to stay a night, I would very much recommend the Howard Johnson Inn. Fairly cheap, reasonably clean hotel, friendly staff and excellent tasting Indian food at the hotel restaurant made for a wonderful stay. I overheard a conversation between a member of the staff and another guest where the hotel staff essentially told him that he can take all the time he needs to check-out and that they are not very particular about the 11am checkout deadline if the guest needs some time and this conversation was happening at 12:30. My only complaint was that the hotel restaurant took a rather long time to serve our food. The food itself was great but the service was slow. Other than that, wonderful experience.

It is not the first time in here for me. this is your typical Niagara Falls 2 start Motel. not bad not fancy. clean enough, and front desk very helpful.

Good price. They had new bed from the last visit. Very comfortable.

it is not the first time that we stay there. it is good for a night or a couple of nights. we stayed at the a room with King bed and jaccuzy. remember is a two start Motel, so don't expect fancyness. the room needs some improvements TLC mostly. for example the tissue holders are rusty, also the shower curtain should cover most the water going out. the AC unit is very old,. overall as I said, it goes according to what you pay.

Better than what I expected. Room is spacious. Washroom is clean + shower water is hot+strong enough. Furniture and carpet is old and not top grade, as expected. Free breakfast ends at 8:30am is a bit too early, not too many choices but adequate -- apple+orange juice, white+brown toast, jam+butter, muffins+ other pastries, fruits, coffee and tea. Staffs are friendly and helpful. My stay is a pleasant surprise.

This hotel was the worst "brand name" hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpets were stained and ripped, the wallpaper the torn and falling off the walls, The furniture cushions were stained, the tiolet was dirty and broken when we checked in, with a spider in the sink, and there was no internet access, unless you were right near the lobby. We left a day early because we were so discussed with our stay and service.
