Pretty good

We were a close walk to everything, the room was clean. If you plan in sleeping in however not the best choice, the hotel construction started at 7 am

NO HOT WATER

The check in was OK but in the morning NO hot water. Not even warm water. They said that the boiler was broken and they hoped to have someone fix it. It had been broken for 2 days.

There are much better options around the same area

The description of the room stated it was newly renovated which was far from the truth, it was really outdated and a little dirty. I cannot say anything about the other rooms, which were half the price for pretty much the same space, but the family suite was nothing far from a cheap road side motel. It did have two separate rooms though they were cramped in a weird shape. If they knock down the wall, it'd be a regular two beds room and will feel a lot more open. I did not want to make a big deal out of it, because i wanted my parents to enjoy the vacation, so i only asked for a room change but the hotel was, apparently, full. I would definitely not stay in this hotel again.

Pretty good if you are on a budget

First the good: The staff was very nice. The location is great if you are looking for a half way point between Clifton Hill, and the Casino. Breakfast was included, and the food was good. Now the not so good: When we first got to the Baymont, the hallways were freezing, and had an odd smell, although the heat had been turned on in the rooms. The hot tub wasn't clean, and we were not able to use it.

Many types of restaurants you can choose near by the hotel. I will recommend this hotel to a friend if they can get rid of the smell.

Lackluster

I was driving through Niagara Falls moving from New England to Michigan, so I simply needed an inexpensive hotel to stay at for the night, not planning on spending much time at all in the room. There was ample parking for my moving truck and towed car, however I was not aware that I had to PAY for parking in the parking lot (they didn't charge me extra for taking up two spaces luckily). The staff was friendly and it's in a location where you can walk to any amenity. The hallway in the hotel smelled like cheap vanilla cupcake candles and was a little stale. The room itself was spacious and the setup was fine, however there was mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. I didn't feel like complaining at the time because it was late and I was tired. As I was checking out the following morning, the couple in front of me checking out informed the clerk that their bathroom had mold growing on their ceiling, and the clerk ended up not charging them for parking, however when I went to check out, I also informed them of the mold in our bathroom and they still charged us for parking. All in all, the hotel was okay, but mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom?? Some people would flip out over that as they rightfully should, so this hotel should get their act together sooner than later.

Comfortable stay

Spent most of the days at Marine Land with the children. Back to the hotel late evenings only after a tiring day. Continental B/fast was adequate, nothing to rave about. Stay was comfortable, quiet. Internet did not seem to work even after getting the password from the reception. Night reception staff were pretty lax. The room was great. King size beds were very comfortable. No microwave in the room, had to go down to warm foodstuff. We may visit again. Entertainment centres were walking distance. The Hotel Reservation Confirmation stated we get a Golf Deal. The hotel staff said we were not entitled to this facility. [...]There was a board at the reception saying that Reservations done get the golf facility or dinner for 2. We got none.

Short walk to the entertainment centres, a further walk to the Falls. Restaurants in abundance nearby. Centrally located. Walking distance to the nearby casinos and shopping. Plenty to do all day long and late into the night.

Hidden Surprises

The hotel evidently is saving money on air conditioning. The halls can be compared to a sauna. Our room's temperature was 90 degrees when we arrived. We turned the temp to full blast cool, but it took quite awhile to cool and never seemed to be able to cool the room. There was a summer special where we were able to stay in an executive suite with a huge king size bed and a pull out sofa chair. The pull out had dirty sheets with a bra still in the sheets! So all four of us had to squeeze on one bed. The continental breakfast was good, but in a small room.
