Americas Best Value Inn

The hotel is not family friendly. I went to the hotel last month and the staff were unfriendly and extremely rude. I would rather live in the street than in the hotel because the outside looks very filthy. When I went to the receptionist the man was aggressive and did not give us the room we paid for because I had come with my family. I had to suddenly adjust my plans and stay in another hotel. I would not recommend this horrible hotel for families. After seeing the condition of the hotel, 3 star is not the right rating it is less than 2 stars.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the country setting. For the price, its a good place to stay if you are looking for an economic place to stay. It was clean and the owner was very responsive to a few minor requests. You get what you pay for.

We wanted to spent New Years eve at the Falls and instead of staying close to the Falls as described on the hotel map, this motel is at least 10 miles away from the Falls and not even considered Niagara Falls but the next town Thorold. [...] The pictures and google map are from a different, much nicer American Best Value at Niagara Falls !!!

We thought this was going to be a very negative experience as after it was booked, we then read reviews and some people only gave it a 1 or 2 for certain reasons. They said it was among sex shops, was dirty etc. We had trouble finding much available as it was for New Year's Eve, so we booked it. We were pleasantly surprised as the couple that run it are very friendly, the rooms were spotless, the bed very comfortable, and yes the bedding was perfectly clean, we had the use of a fridge, tv worked, heating was regulated by us, the only thing we would have liked would be a kettle as after our drive, we wanted to have a coffee or tea. When we booked this hotel we thought it was closer to the falls, but that was not a problem for us at all. Also, there are some adult clubs down the road from it but not right beside as you would get on Clifton Hill. It is a motel and they also have a pool for summer. We liked it and would stay again!

The map shows the wrong location. It is located near several Adult shops and Adult entertainment facilities. Outdoor pool is nice size and deep. The room was very clean but small compared to other hotels. The refrigerator never got cold. There are no microwaves and you have to use the one in the lobby. Internet work for about 2 hours out of 2 days.

The Hotel is surrounded by adult entertainment (adult massages, penthouses, etc.)and it is not a very family friendly place. The pictures posted on the internet are very deceiving too, it looks like a nice place but is not. The box spring of the bed was filthy with all kinds of stains. My check-in time was at 1:00pm and I arrived at 2:00pm and the room still wasn't ready.. I do not recommend this place!
