We are big fans of the Westin in Whistler. Although on this trip we stayed at both the Westin and Pan Pacific (which are just across the square from one another). The rooms are nicer than the Pan Pacific even though the lobby is pretty drab. The
rooms are well appointed and up to date. The feel much more high end than the Pan Pacific. However, during high season, all Whistler hotels are way overpriced. You are paying for convenience rather than luxury.

great spot close to everything
Skiing was great but be warned this Hotel allows DOGS in the rooms! We got flea bites-they kindly moved us to a non dog room with no barking next door.
Also they want to charge you $6 per set of skiis to store them at night -this is a world first
for us and an outrage. other wise the staff are really friendly and helpful
Good dinning room

Bad guest service agents!!!
Being an owner of a hotel myself I always expect a lot and also little at the same time when I check in to a hotel. I always realize how tuff of a job it is to be in a hotel industry and know that you cannot please every single guest. But on
this vacation trip with my wife I was not expecting a lot and just wanted to be up in Whistler to relax. But even at the time of check in I started to notice unfriendliness at the hotel. When I approached the front desk to check in there was two agents there and none of them even made an eye contact with me. When I finally approached one agent he then pushed me towards the other lady and then she started to check me in. She then later had a radio call so she stopped what she was doing with me and started to get on her radio. After the check in was done and I was given my room key, I asked for list of some of the amenities they provide at the hotel and she gave me the list of restaurants in the hotel and didn't even tell me where the pool was. She then told me that the fitness room was out of order but I later found out that it was not out of order. When I went into my room I saw dusts all under the TV. When I went down and passed the front desk few times a day for the 4 days I was ONLY greeted two times by two different agents. First one was advising me that the ashtray was around the corner NOT "hello" or "how are you?". There was few time I passed by and there were four agents at the desk but they were all so busy on their computers they didn't even bother to look up to see who was passing by the front. Overall my trip was great only because of what Whistler provided me but I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. With a same amount of money I spent I could of gone to other hotels and receive friendlier service.

Wonderful resort
The Westin Wistler was a wonderful get away spot. They have a great location that is right next to the gondola, shopping and dining. The room was very comfortable and the facility was very nice. We enjoyed soaking in the indoor/outdoor pool and
hot tub after a day of skiing. The service was wonderful. We can't wait to go back.

Great Place to Stay
The hotel room was very clean, and quite at night. The bed and pillows was very comfortable, no bach-ache or neck-ache the next morning. We stayed on the 9th floor facing the shops. The close proximity to the shops and ski gondolas was
perfect. The food was very good and the service was fast. The night life was great. The only issues we had were the hidden costs: hotel parking $25/night & the Spa Resort club fee $13/day.
