Convenience at a decent price.
If you are a walker, this hotel is actually nicely located among lots of the attractions you'd want to visit: Downtown, Gastown, Granville Is, Davie St, etc. A bit of a walk from the nearest train station, but if you don't have much luggage, it'd be a pleasant walk.

Location, Helpful Staff, Good Price
I picked this hotel because it was affordable and in a good location (right across the street from a much more expensive Sheraton). We arrived very late and the staff was extremely helpful, in fact they were helpful throughout our stay. The amenities aren't fancy but they are just what you need. The wi-fi was a little spottly but the staff said it was because of the new cell towerrs being installed on the roof. There was work going on at the time we were there. I would stay here again next time I visit Vancouver, BC.

Cutest Surprise
We checked in late at night and were welcomed into a pleasant environment and quickly up to our boutique room which was simply decorated and very comfortable. The hotel signs and labels were comical and the staff was very friendly. We rented bikes and rode around Vancouver and enjoyed the very environmentally-friendly aspect of the hotel in general. We would recommend to all friends!

A wonderful place full of character, humor
If you're looking for a hotel with character and personality - but also clean and in a great location - this is the hotel. This is not your boring chain hotel - instead it has a real feel to it (hip, 50's-ish) that's fun to experience. Rooms are on the smaller size but comfortable - and amenities are good with a 42-inch HD TV on the wall, coffee maker, etc. Love the signage around the place.

Decent but no continental breakfast as promised.
The location of the hotel is great but there were a few things that could have been better. Parking was full so had to park across the street-same price but could not go back out of garage and on site parking was expected as listed on website. Free continental breakfast, also listed on website, is non existent at the hotel and staff lied when we asked about it. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely small and dimly lit but they were very clean.

Perfect for the Price
We found the location to be great. We were worried about being across from the emergency room at St. Paul's but the room was very comfortable and quieter than we thought. All the hotel needed was a hot tub in the court yard.

Great hotel
Great little hotel in a great location, either 20 min walk or 3 min bus journey to sky train station (burrard station). Just 10 min walk to Robson street, which is the main downtown shopping area. Hotel clean and tidy staff helpful. If arriving from vancouver airport take the Canada line sky train to yaletown round house station and then take the C23 bus to burrard at davie street. The fee is $8.75 for the ticket, which includes the skytrain and the bus. If you choose to walk from the skytrain station to the hotel please be aware that it is all up hill and a bit of a killer with luggage!!! There is building work going on next door to the hotel where they are building a homeless shelter.
