Good Value

It's in a colorful part of old Vancouver, but I like that vibe. Plenty of nearby coffeehouses and restaurants and easy access to bus and train. I would stay there again. The staff was helpful.

Pretty Good for Downtown Vancouver

Good place, very friendly housekeeping staff, reasonably friendly front desk staff. Only real complaint was parking, which would have been something like $22 per night, and had vehicles parked in such a way as to prevent nearly all from leaving... not my cup of tea. Instead parked on Howe street just north of the Hotel for free from 10pm to 9am the next morning.

Ramada

Location is great close to downtown mall, lots of restaurants, businesses etc. Hallways were the worst part, the floors creak, musty smell etc. our room on the back was quiet, staff were pleasant and helpful re transportation directions advice etc. Probably good we were there during the week.

Great Entertainment District Location

The hotel was in the best location as it was only a short walk from all of the bars and plenty of restaurants downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The only concern was the parking. The parking lot is fairly small so if they have too many guests with cars, they have to move it to another lot which is further from the hotel.

Great location

Nice room with comfortable bed. They let me check in early at no charge because they had an vacancy. I didn't notice any bad smells like other reviewers and when I checked in the front desk clerk placed me away from the disco so that noise was not an issue. Its a short walk from the Canadian Line Yale town station to the hotel. Just go to Davies st and walk up the hill to Granville and its on the other side of the street on your left Easy to find. That being said the noise from the room above me was pretty loud the last night of my stay. It sounded like they were having a hockey game or something (I'm not kidding). All in all I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I can't imagine that all guest are as noisy as the revelers were above me.

Just ok

The price was fair. The hallway and room smelled like musk or mold. The bar next to the hotel is a good spot. We stayed there during the week, but apparently during the weekend Granville St turns into a great night life spot, since they close off the street to cars. We missed out on that. During the week there were alot of bums outside. I was not too impressed. We would have preferred to stay in the "Gas Town Section" of the city. Overall: Not bad, but we would have selected a different part of the city if we could do it over.

I'd stay here again, however...

Being my first trip to Vancouver, I don't think I could have stayed in a better location for some casual tourist enjoyment. There are many varied interests at a walking distance, including a range of eateries. The lobby is very well put together and the staff very helpful; however, once you hit the elevator it smells like kitty litter. The lift, the hallway, and the room a wee bit. Quite strange.
