The best room I've ever had.
This centrally located Hyatt is a gem. Excellent staff, no waiting to check in or check out, and the room was phenomenal. I was on the 27th floor and the view was way cool. I didn't eat there so I have no point of reference on the food. Nor did I go to the work out facility, but I spoke with some folks who had and they raved about it. Bottom line is this; wonderful hotel experience at a superb price. I was very, very happy.

Good price, good location
The Hyatt was very well located. The city tour bus stop was out side the door. Everything was in walking distance, the museum, the port, the park and the shops and restaurants. If the weather cooperated it would have been great.

Stay clear of the museums when they change exhibits- they charge you full price and you only see the exhibits on one of three floors. Stay clear of Hastings St. Bring your rain gear, umbrella etc.and April still has cool weather, so bring jackets, long sleeves etc.

Great location, beware pricey amenities
The Hyatt Regency in Vancouver hosts rooms and locations that are clean and professional in appearance. The hotel has relatively friendly and helpful staff, as well as ample security. Most importantly, they are placed in a convenient location in the heart of downtown Vancouver, with several shops and eateries literally attached right next door. The down side to this is that the hotel charges heavy prices for amenities which most locations would offer standard, such as internet access. Also, the room service is unavailable during certain hours.

The most beautiful city!
Hyatt Regency Vancouver - 25th floor: great view of downtown. First, Vancouver is a beautiful city, we absolutely loved it. Robson street with all its shops and lights, Stanley park, Yaletown, Graneville island, just so many beautiful places to see in this city. Next door to Hyatt is Tim Hortons restaurant...we ate breakfast there every morning. LOL It was that good! ;) The only thing about the hotel that was kind of uncomfortable was that you have to request for the towels and bed sheets to be changed; if you don't, they won't change them. Other than that, it's perfect. The parking gets a little expensive there, but it's normal whenever you're staying in a hotel located in a busy downtown part of the city. Expect to pay around CAN$12 to CAN$24 each day.
