Dining

Bonefish Folley's Bar & Grille
Sits with a commanding view of Old Bahama Bay's expansive marina. As welcoming as the bone fishing legend himself, Israel "Bonefish Folley" Rolle, the newly renamed eatery beckons patrons hungering for native Bahamian cuisine. Be it signature 'Pieces of Eight Conch Fritters', 'Siboney Conch Chowder', Grouper Piccata 'Bahama Bay', or 'Bahamian Rum Cake', patrons can enjoy mouthwatering delicacies amidst down-home charm. Dark wooden tables adorned with handmade straw placemats and Bahamian Androsia-print table napkins, and guests are waited upon by Androsia-clad servers with welcoming smiles. Black & white photos of its namesake, "Bonefish Folley", peer from the restaurant's walls. There is always a chance of meeting this living legend who often drops by, regaling customers with fish tales. Like the man himself, Bonefish Folley's Bar & Grille offers Legendary Fishing, Food & Spirits.
The Straw Bar
Set between the hotel's freshwater swimming pool and the water's edge of The North Beach, The Straw Bar service ensures you are never more than a few steps away from a refreshing cocktail or a light snack. Seasonal BBQs with live entertainment and bonfires.
Aqua
Aqua, Old Bahama Bay's elegant fine dining restaurant, features an innovative Bahamian fusion menu that reinterprets the presentation of classic Bahamian delicacies such as conch and Caribbean lobster into fresh new dishes. Set in the epicenter of the resort, with extraordinary views of the marina, the restaurant is open for dinner daily. Each guest will get to know the Bahamas through the flavors and textures of the marine life that surrounds its islands. Aqua will surprise and delight visitors to Old Bahama Bay and give the guests a new appreciation of the true Island experience.

Beautifully peaceful & secluded but not for everyone

Our kind of resort but not necessarily everyone's. Laid-back luxury, peace, and quiet. There were good reasons John Travolta stayed here with his family - you feel as if you're in your own private enclave, no party or group scene, no "activities," everyone is friendly, unaffected, but private. No need to get dressed up, wear makeup, etc. Oceanfront jr. suites are updated & have comfy king bed, kitchenette, washer/dryer, ensuite marble bath, and plenty of storage. Linens need improving. Bungalows are the look here rather than the typical cookie-cutter "resort." You get the sense that you arrived at the end of the world. If you like privacy, beachcombing, relaxation, and an un-resort-like atmosphere, you will like it here. If you need to be coddled or get bored after an hour, you won't. Service is quick and good without stuffiness. Beach bar is where guests gather, otherwise everyone's on their own. Dinner restaurant is not the greatest but sometimes very good, freshly caught fish & Bahamian side dishes, good service. Overall this place is a secluded gem.
