The Atlantis Royal Towers Paradise Island hotel is an exotic getaway that guarantees to provide its guests with an experience they won't soon forget. Established in 1998 as one of the world's most ambitious and imaginative projects, the Royal Towers was created as tribute to the fabled lost city of Atlantis. Built with architecture meant to resemble a foregone era, visitors are greeted at the door with expansive domes, arches, spires and towers that appear to have risen from the sea to recreate the myth and legend of Atlantis. An 11 million gallon open-air marine environment also comprises a majority of the hotel, and guests can partake in any number of marine-themed activities such as above- and underwater lessons or aquarium adventures featuring 50,000 creatures spanning 200 species.

Highlights

Visitors to the Royal Towers can immerse themselves in the Mandara Spa, an exotic spa that combines ancient Balinese healing touches with modern-day European therapeutic techniques and soothing massage practices indigenous to the area. Guests not immediately looking to relax can explore the resort's activities, such as rock climbing, the fitness center, tennis courts and an 18-hole championship golf course. Those staying at the resort can also dive into one of the dozens of marine-based attractions like the Dolphin and Stingray swim or the Scuba/Snuba swim for Scuba and non-Scuba certified alike.

Fees
  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a two-night penalty. The resort requires a $250 per room per day deposit for incidentals by credit card or cash upon check-in. Mandatory Bahamas resort taxes, maid gratuities and utility surcharges are included in all reservations. Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in at the hotel.
  • Resort fee is $49.95 USD plus $3.75 USD VAT per room per night. This includes Wi-Fi access in rooms and lobby areas (up to 4 devices per room), fitness centre access inclusive of complimentary use of cardio studio, universal and free weights only (up to 2 persons per day per room), Two 12 oz. bottles of water daily per room, in-room coffee and tea, unlimited local phone calls, access to Altlantis Movie Theatre, access to Aquaventure, a one-of-a-kind 141 acre waterscape, casino lessons and resort shuttle service.
Policies
  • Until 22 August, 2015, Cartoon Network will be back at Atlantis to offer new and exhilarating activities for kids. Children can have fun with inflatable obstacle course, nighttime outdoor screenings, costume character parades in Marina Village and special themed camps.

This is not a comprehensive list of fees. Any amounts listed above may not include taxes and are subject to change.

overpriced

hotel was ok, beaches and pools are good, activities were fun......but thats it! no "wows" and "amazings" about it. a lot of other places and cheaper hotels (hawaii, thailand) offer same or even better services and fun. and the prices were huge on food, spa......on everything! even if i come back to bahamas some day i would never stay at the same hotel...

Atlantis--The Cove

The best resort I have stayed at. The entire Atlantis property was spotless. Beautiful grounds and hotels. The staff was very accomodating and courteous. Everyone we encountered on the trip was very friendly and nice. Loved the security of the property. We were actually upgraded to the Cove from the Royal Towers without a fee. Incredible room and even better view. I have read reviews contrary to this about how unfriendly the people were and how they were not accomodating. Complete garbage!! If you have a bad experience at Atlantis, its your own fault!! You are obviously not a happy person and are looking for something to complain about. The food and the drinks are a little high on average, but not that out of line compared to other resorts or vacation spots. The waterpark was very cool. Overall it was a place that had plenty of things to do, but also a great place to hang out at a pool or on the beach and just relax. Definitely recommend the Atlantis to anyone who doesn't mind spending a little more money and definitely will be back.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

On thing I would do if you are going to stay for several days would be to go downtown to the grocery store and buy food and snacks for the daytime. It would save a little money on food and then get reservations ahead of time for the restaurants for the evenings. There are plenty of places to grab a burger, pizza, hotdog, etc. around the property, but gets a little old after awhile. Ave. $12 per meal per person.
