Never ever

When me and group arrived we found out the hotel was closed and we had to go to another hotel. Than we didn't have any refrigerators in the room and if we wanted one we had to pay extra money per night we had it. And when went to eat everywhere charged a 15% gratuity, and ice cream cone was $2.50 plus 15% gratuity so it was really $3. Never again can't go here anyway because the hotel is no longer in business.

Cost Of Food

Great place to stay. Cost of food way too much money. My wife and I with two kids 5 and 8 paid $169 to eat in a buffet setting. We didn't do the meal plan does worth it either. I really recommend taking a taxi to the fish fry for dinner.

Atlantis - Get informed before deciding

Beach Tower was the worst choice at Atlantis. It had NO room service. Room telephone worked only through the operator. Information about supply of drinking water had to be sought a couple of times before one learnt what the policy was. Electricity was off one day for about seven hours. Coral Tower is the center of all management activity. In my view, Cove is the best choice for a family, though more expensive. Different restaurants remained closed on different days, at times for two days. Mesa at Cove opened for dinner only required table reservation, but there was no notice any where. All restaurants in Atlantis close at 10 PM - too early for an island geared to tourism. Learnt that bulletin of daily activities was printed and available with concierge only by chance. The check-in counter should give this information at the time of arrival.

Basic Beach Tower Facilities

We spent four nights at this hotel, and found it very expensive for what it provided. The rooms were standard in size, and had no additional amenities above the usual hair-dryer, etc. The beds were comfortable, but internet was an additional $21.99 per day, and was very unreliable the whole stay. There was a space for a refrigerator, but it was to cost an additional $15 per day. The hall smelled of cooking oil the entire time. If you stay here, know that while the room itself is comfortable, there are hidden costs for other conveniences, not what you would expect for such a pricey accommodation.

Beautiful Birthday

On check-in, we were upgraded to the Coral Towers - more central to the property. Floor seven was at tree top level, so our guaranteed water view was barely visible. The refrigerator did not work, and the remote needed new batteries. There was no coffee until the second day. There was hair in the shower. Despite this, we enjoyed the property and the restaurants. It was a great get-away!

'Value' compared to other Atlantis hotels

Since we are only in our room to sleep, I always bloom the value hotels. Atlantis was no different. The Beach Tower was definitely an older hotel. The decor was average, but the room was very clean. It's about a 7 min brisk walk to Aquadventure, but it was pretty close to the Marina. No fridge, no microwave which (for some reason), I was expecting. I would stay here again, but don't expect anything glamorous about it.

Worth it!

We stayed in the Beach Tower which is definitely run down but it is an inexpensive way to be able to enjoy the hotel without the costs of the other areas. The pool and ocean is fabulous. It took us awhile to figure out to go to the Marina and get our food. Saved money.

The hotel provides a standard room, but the price is anything but standard! Most people cannot afford the rates at Atlantis, unless there is a special deal.

Great family hotel

Everything in Atlantis requires some walking, so it really doesn't matter where you are located. A view of the ocean was great. Close to walk off the property to save a few bucks by visiting the local liquor and grocrery store. On Atlantis food and drinks are quite expensive. Venue is awesome and aquarium sealife is very special.

Bristols liquor and adjacent grocery store save a lot of money on liquor, soda, and water. Next to Dunkin Donuts. About a four block walk from Coral Tower lobby.
