Horrible
This was a 1 star resort if that, with 5 star prices. Rooms dirty, NO amenities, over priced food, poor quality, and I waited over an hour to be served at every meal. Service was less than poor- it was non-existent. I have never been to the Bahamas and I doubt I will return.

As Expected
The area is nice, the beach and pool area are awesome. The hotel is in poor repair, just expect that. It's still pretty nice, but do not expect everything to work or to be there each day. You may get hand towels one day, maybe the next you'll get coffee, but never all the towels, washcloths, coffee, etc. in one day. You WILL be charged a $38/day "Resort Fee", regardless of whom you book through, so expect that when you arrive. All in all, it works. If you want a decent place to stay that won't break the bank, then this is it. If you want a SUPER RESORT, then you'll need to pay the big bucks for the Atlantis resort.

Wyndham Nassau Resort
The Wyndham has a beautiful beach and swimming pool. Overall, it was fine. We were asked to move by hotel staff to a different room after our first day's stay due to construction on the grounds. It took most of the second day to make our move wasting some of our vacation. We talked to the staff three times each time they asked us to come back in a couple hours. On the third time after waiting in line and having them tell us to come back later we became assertive and were finally able to provide us a different room. We were not happy with their attitude.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
There are several fast food restaurants within a 1 mile walk from the hotel and also a grocery story. The jitney is a good means of transportation to downtown Nassau.

This hotel had it all! There was tons to do at the resort and was a great location! Food wasn't that great and was very expensive. I recommend going to grocery store to get a few things if you are staying long.

Hotel Under construction and hidden casino fees
The hotel was under construction and we were never told. We never received any compensation for that. Also, hotel charged hidden casino fees for using the casino. $38 for casino we didnt even use. Service was decent.

Food and drinks are alot higher than what I thought. A can of coke for $1.50?...wow...and the food at the hotel could have been better for what we paid for it

Romantic getaway weekend
I took my husband here for the weekend. I read the reviews about the construction. Thank God, we didn't hear any of the construction in our room. We stayed in the C Tower and our view of the Caribbean Sea was wonderful. The property was beautiful and EVERYONE was so kind and helpful. Food at the hotel is a little pricey but you can save money by eating at the hotel cafe which is on the way to the other hotel towers past the shops. Also you can take a bus called a jitney to Fish Fry less than 10 minutes away. I loved our hotel and stay

Needs to "Step Up" to maintain Wyndham Reputation
Upon my arrival, I was checked into the wrong room. Is was a "smoking room". Not very nice. Stains on the carpet and on the lamp shades. Dust on the desk. Not very clean. I told them I did not like the room and their response was, they were sorry, but there were no other rooms available. Really??? The view was nice, BUT THE ROOM WAS NOT! Not the best experience on my first night there.
