Vienna Hotel with indoor pool located in the heart of the city
Vienna Marriott Hotel has a top location at famous Ringstrasse, opposite the Stadtpark. The hotel is just a stone's throw from St. Stephen´s Cathedral and city center sights. The facilities are wide and varied here with an indoor swimming pool, several dining and drinking venues, plus a fitness center and small spa. The rooms and suites offer a full spectrum of upscale amenities -- some units grant access to an executive lounge.

Nice place but lots of added costs
The Vienna Marriott Hotel was comfortable and in a great location, the staff were very helpful and friendly, but it was on the high cost side plus there were several added costs (parking $35 Euros a night, breakfast another $15 Euros per person). Plus they advertise free Wi Fi, but that is only in the lobby, which is inconvenient. You had to pay to get it in your room. That was annoying.

Regular business trip
Very good choice if you are to eat out and spend most of your time outside of the hotel. Great location, well schooled staff. Room cleanliness .... One should expect better. But its worth money paid

Not happy
The hotel itself is lovely if you have the advantage to enjoy all the amenities however we didn't because the american sports bar was closed the first night to guests because there was an exclusive Christmas party on for a company. Not aware of this we went in to be told to leave by the staff as its not open to guests!!!! The second night we were there the whole hotel was closed all day and night restaurants and bars included as there was another CHristmas party on, so guests were again treated like outcasts and told it was not open to them only a company party!! Will never stay in a mariott hotel again!!

A short walk walk away from the hotel there are some nice cafe's where you can have dinner or just coffee. The city itself is beautiful and the hotel has potential if guests could enjoy all the amenities it had to offer but we couldn't and we paid alot of money for it.

Treated Like Cattle
Biggest disgrace i have experienced throughout all my years travelling or staying in hotels. All bars and restaurants in the hotel were closed off to a private function on the friday night (Nov 30th). When we walked into the hotel there was a temp structure preventing access to any part of the hotel and this simply guided us direct to the lifts to get to our room. When we rang to complain a front desk operator pretended to be the manager, was incredibly rude and did not care one bit about our experience. We had planned to have a nice meal overlooking the park to celebrate a personal event on the saturday night but instead had to search the town for a nice restaurant as we had no access to the hotel amenities (most nice restaurants were booked so we didnt even get to celebrate our news in a nice place!) On top of this the hotel advertising is misleading. All the pictures show wonderful views from the fabulous bar on the 8th floor. The reality is that this cannot be accessed either unless you stay in an executive room. This hotel chain is a disgrace and we would have been treated better in a 2 star place.

Too expensive
Staff was professional and helpful.Rooms large but even non smoking smelt slightly of smoke .Ridiculous that Marriott charges for W fi when every cafe and restaurant just gives you the free code.

Will definitely stay somewhere else next time!
Average room without characters or charms. Bathtub was dirty. 5.6 euro per hour for internet? I've stayed at many other 5 star hotels with way better room and free internet! Will not book again.

Excellent in everything
Super nice hotel. Great location. Excellent service. The concierge service is excellent also. They were able to help us with reservations, transportations and so on.
