Lots of upgrades at this recently renovated Palm Beach gem
This Westin Aruba Resort, on 7.5 acres of white sands in Palm Beach, encased by lush gardens and swaying palm trees, recently had a $22 million renovation. Guestrooms and suites have been upgraded with new furnishings and amenities including 32-inch flat screen TVs, marble baths, custom bath products and pillow-topped beds. The resort is home to a 12,000 square-foot Casablanca Casino, which received 200 new state-of-the-art slot machines. The 8,500 square-foot pool received new teak furniture. Relaxing
Hotel very clean. Rooms excellent. Prices at poolside bar too expensive (even during happy hour). Beach area very windy to point of sand blowing in your face. Food at Blossoms restaurant was excellent.

Short drive from hotel
The Fishbone restaurant was excellent and had a great view of the sunset. Car rental proved to be more cost effective than riding in cabs for 3 days.

Nice resort
The Westin was a fine vacation resort for couples. The beach was clean, with sand like sugar, but got crowded quickly. The room was well appointed and clean, and even had nice teak furniture on the balcony, and mostly American TV stations. Walls and doors are a little thin--could hear what was going on in the neighboring rooms at all hours, including a domestic dispute that woke us up at 2am. The amenities and services, including the restaurants were all very nice, if a little pricey. The sunset dinner on the beach at Azull was a wonderful and romantic experience, that was worth every penny. Activities were all easy to book, and Pelican Tours staff was friendly. Casino dealers were all RED HOT the night we played. A lot of East Coasters come here, so be prepared to talk about the Red Sox or Yankees...

I've been to Aruba over 10 times and this was my first stay at the Westin. I found it nice and comfortable. Their breakfast buffet was great. The other restaurants were okay. The grounds are not the nicest compared to the other hotels on Palm beach. The hut reservation was hideous. People line up at 7AM and wait for the towel hut to open at 8AM so that they can reserve a spot. By 8:30AM most of the huts are reserved.

Very nice experience!
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and service was very good. Restaurants were within walking distance. Although I was hoping for a full oceanview in my Oceanview room, I have no complaints and would recommend this hotel to others.

Plan to bring some money for dining as it can become expensive, however if on a budget, there is a McDonalds and Wendy's within walking distance. If you walk around you can find restaurants with good deals on meals and buffets.

Family friendly, good location, fab pool!
Westin is conveniently located...gorgeous big pool and well equipped fitness center. Lots of families and activities for kids...plus right by beach. Lots of options for dining and easy to get to city/town by bus ($1) or taxi (about $20). My only comment was the rooms are getting refurbished so there were a few maintenance issues (drain problems, broken shower, tiles broken on terrace)...but I'm assuming these will get resolved...I'd highly recommend it otherwise!

Excelente hotel, muy bien las
Excelente hotel, muy bien las instalaciones. La ubicación excelente. Tienes todo en el hotel, no tienes necesidad de salir de el, a menos que quieras ir de shopping o a otros casinos!!
