Look for the coupon book, I didn't realize we had it until we got home. It was mixed within all the other literature. We could have used some of them at the hotel and saved...

The Tamarijn was a super beach vacation
From the time we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and carefree. I think that this really has been the friendliest island that we've been to in the Caribbean. Every room at the hotel has a great view of the ocean. There are two stories, so you can be at the beach in an instant. Food is tasty and plentiful. Drinks are available at dinner, at three bars plus the neighboring Divi hotel where all amenities are also included in the price. Entertainment is in good taste and very family friendly. This is one great vacation. We've always said we'd never go to the same place twice, but we may have to break that rule.

Family get-a-way during spring break.
The hotel is a little weathered but don't let that discourage you. The staff is awesome. The food is very good with a great variety and the local beer (Balashi) is not too bad....... I give it an A- because the rooms are small but well worth it!

Locatio, location, location
The hotel is over 40 years old and it shows somewhat, but the weather, sand and sea does not get any better. This is where the premium price comes in when visiting Aruba. The people are also very warm and friendly. Had to go there at least once in my life and I will always remember it fondly.

Relaxing Beach Getaway
The room was not that great, but you are not in your room much! The location was great, we were right on the beach, beautiful blue ocean, smooth sand beach. We were in unit 19 which is very close to the Bunker bar so it was a few steps to keep our drinks full!

right on the beach
This hotel is a great value, but you get what you pay for. It does not have the newest rooms or amenities, but it is a perfect location to relax on the beach. We literally walked directly from our room onto a beatiful white sand beach. Pros: -perfect beachfront location -friendly staff -good dinner options Cons: -no top-shelf liquor -limited breakfast and lunch options

Amazing!
I was skeptical about going to a three star, but based on reviews its the best vacation Ive ever had. I even bought a time share with the same affiliations. The rooms are alittle small, but who cares when you dont spend any time in them. You step out of your room and you are pretty much on the beach. This beach is also a better beach then where the high rises are. If you are looking for something less commercialized, then this is your place. Thumbs up!

An awesome week at the Tamarijn Aruba
We visited Aruba for our 1 year anniversary, staying at the Tamarijn from 11/10/12 - 11/17/12. We were very pleased with every aspect of the Tamarijn, from our room on the beach, the location of the resort, the awesome restaurants available to us, and very friendly staff. Sharing all inclusive features with the Divi next door was just a bonus, and we enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the Red Parrot. The buffets were very good too. The beaches are awesome, and not crowded at all. We visited downtown a couple times, uptown (high rise area) a couple times, and did the ABC Jeep Tour (highly recommend!!!), and each time we returned to the Tamarijn at the end of the day we were so pleased we were staying there. We will return... and we will stay at the Tamarijn!
