Dutch-inspired Palm Beach budget hotel with two pools, fitness center
Enjoy shuttle service to and from Palm Beach, which is right across the street from the charming low-rise Mill Resort & Suites Aruba. Architecture is Dutch-inspired, as there is even a windmill. Every room or suite has a view of the tropical gardens. Family-friendly to a point (no kids are allowed in the "Royal rooms"), the Mill Resort has activities just for a kids, and a designated playground for little ones, along with two freely flowing fresh water pools.

Light wicker furniture, cool tiled floors, and accents of sea foam green are in each guest room at The Mill Resort & Suites Aruba, from the floral bedspread to the curtains to the view of the tropical gardens from every private balcony or patio. Standard amenities include a safety deposit box, radio and cable TV. Entertain in-room with an equipped kitchenette, which comes with a stove, microwave oven and mini fridge, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Royal rooms have Jacuzzi tubs.All rooms and suites are non-smoking.

Romping is encouraged at the playground for kids, and the whole family (or just adults) may participate in daily activities. The Mill Resort

Small ,clean , accommodating, nice and relaxing most of the time very quiet - peaceful , no large crowds it was within easy walking distance from all the large hotels and restaurants on the main strip . had a great time !!!

Pleasant for thle budget minded

Rudeness Continued at "The Mill"

2 visits this year...Both in Feb 2013... We've stayed here many times because it's an ok value, but we can guarantee the front desk staff will ALWAYS display their total inability to understand the basic good manners all of us should show to one another. It is flat-out astonishing how rude these folks are! They just don't get it...ever. Hard to explain...but that's how it is every visit.

Ho-Hum Resort

Front-desk staff have little or no common courtesy! Simply acknowledging that someone is standing in front of them is beyond their ability. It is ALWAYS like that at "The Mill". What is wrong with these people? The resort is a basic sort of place, ok for the price, but a tad run-down.

the mill

Used as a "weigh station" to another Hotel wasnt horrible but needs work . Feet turned black walking from shower to bed. People were nice but hotel needs Major work

great value

everything was great.the staff is terrific.we have stayed there many times.last year housekeeping was just fair,this year there was a big, big improvement and housekeeping was excellent

Just what I needed.

nothing special

The room was ok, nothing special. The tile floors didnt look like they were clean. There was not any entertainment for our family. The staff was un-friendly. A friend of mine stoped by to visit and left me a hand written message that they staff never delivered to us.

It is what it is

Overall this was an ok experience for the type hotel advertised. We did not get the room we booked and paid for until two nights into the five night stay. Take warm pajamas because it is true, the rooms are cold at night. Some staff is friendly and kind and some not so friendly. They are serious about turning in the pool towel cards and hotel keys. They will charge you 100.00 if you do not. The twenty five dollar certificate for bar and resturant is only if you spend fifty dollars.
