History

Founded in 1899, Associazione Calcio Milan is the professional football club that represents the city of Milan in Italy. The team saw success early on in their history with Italian Championships coming in 1901, 1906, and 1907. After their early success, the team experienced a domestic title drought not winning another championship until the 1950-1951 season. Under the leadership of some star players A.C. Milan won their first international title when they beat Benfica in the 1963 European Cup. Throughout the next three decades A.C.
