Redefining the legacy of rock
The origin story of the War on Drugs starts in 2003 with a clandestine meeting between Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile, both recently having moved to Philadelphia. They started playing together, and in 2005 they founded The War on Drugs. After filling out their lineup, they released their debut album, Wagonwheel Blues. Vile left the group to develop his solo career, but The War on Drugs continued to grow in popularity. The band became a festival favorite, performing at events like Austin City Limits. Granduciel has continued to guide the band with a new vision of rock and roll, earning accolades from publications like Rolling Stone and Spin.
With a new album out in 2017, the first record release in three years, fans are buzzing with anticipation for The War on Drugs concerts. Don't miss your chance to see these indie rockers as they ignite the stage – get your cheap The War on Drugs tickets today!
