About Queens of the Stone Age
Always pushing the envelope, always evolving, Queens of the Stone Age has shaken alternative rock with their heavy riff-filled sound. With full-throttle concerts, cheap Queens of the Stone Age tickets go fast, so act now to reserve your spot at one of their electric shows!
At the vanguard in the evolution of alt rock
With his old band falling apart, Josh Homme began looking for other dynamic artists to play with. He started Gamma Ray, which released a debut EP in 1996. The following year the band changed their name to Queens of the Stone Age for legal reasons, Homme saying that choosing 'kings' for their band would be 'too macho.' In 1998 Queens of the Stone Age released their first full-length album, and soon the band was touring with mega-artists like The Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and Hole. Their third album, Songs for the Deaf, twisted their sound a shade towards the bizarre, a gamble that paid off when the album went gold and singles like "No One Knows" and "Go with the Flow" became radio hits. Queens of the Stone Age continues to push their sound by inviting other artists to contribute to their albums, including Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails, and Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters.
With a new album out in 2017, fan excitement for Queens of the Stone Age concerts is high. Pick up your cheap Queens of the Stone Age tickets here to be one of the first to experience their new music live!
