About Little Big Town
Little Big Town is a country group founded in 1998 by Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet. They have remained together since forming the. Before 2005, fans were able to score some pretty cheap tickets, but when "The Road to Here" landed in the Top 20 singles, the band's popularity sky rocketed and they earned their first platinum record.
Hit Singles and Accolades
Some of their biggest hits grace the radio waves hourly. "Pontoon" and "Girl Crush," are No. 1 hits on Hot Country Songs charts, but other popular hits include "Boondocks," "Tornado," and "Day Drinking." The band can boast many other accolades outside of their first platinum record. In 2014, Little Big Town was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, which is a huge accomplishment that many country artists strive to achieve in their careers.
Big Moments for Little Big Town
Little Big Town is no stranger to touring, in fact they've performed with some of the biggest names in country, including Sugarland and Carrie Underwood. In 2006, band members Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild revealed romantic feelings for one another and got married. Four years later they had their first child who they now take on tour with them. The rest of the band has stated that they are in full support of their relationship, and enjoy the family experience of it all. 2021 Tour
In 2020, Little Big Town planned to tour across the country, but the tour was pushed to 2021 due to the unforeseen circumstances at the time. The Knightfall Tour tour started in early summer 2021 and continued throughout the fall. Caitlyn Smith joined the band for some of the performances along the way. The group played multiple shows in many cities on their tour including Denver, Chicago, Kansas City and Greensboro. The tour ended in November at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
